Main Room (Aichi)
-Aichi's just kind of holding the lavenders as the Plague Doctor starts walking away.-
"I-I'll be sure to keep that in mind... Thank you."
-Aichi then looks over to Leos with a sheepish expression.-
"...Well, they smell nice at least..."
-He's probably going to keep them in his room.-
...Mm.
("Figures.")
>("They're all the same, anyway.")
(The Hero of Twilight, the Hero of Winds, the Hero of Oracles... very little survived the eons since they walked the earth. The book documenting most of them even acknowledges the fact that at least half of them are fictional - if only because their tales contradict one another historically.)
(But, Blink repeats - they're all the same. A hero rises to fight the darkness, wielding a sword of light and accompanied by a princess named Zelda... they're too uniform. And too idealized.)
(The real Heroes, if they existed, were most definitely far from perfect. If only Past Blink knew otherwise...)
>("The Hero of Night.")
(Blink elaborates that very little is known of this Hero, likely because of the nature of his heresy. But general consensus is that he was a Sheikah nightblade, a killer for hire, not unlike the Yiga Clan. In fact, the Yiga allegedly used to venerate him.)
(The heresy claims that the Hero of Night wielded the darkness to protect the light. At the fingertips of his right hand were ancient, profane magics from a kingdom long fallen... yet in his left hand he clutched the sword that seals the darkness. If the sword could accept him as its master...)
...Mm.
(Blink gets a feeling that the Hero of Night only ended up as a heresy for political reasons. Like, his final mark - the darkness he had to vanquish - supposedly incarnated as a Sheikah.)
(And much like how the Gerudo have been associated with Calamity Ganon's sins when he was their king, thousands of years ago... perhaps this other evil's deeds forbade the Sheikah from claiming to have sired the Hero who defeated it.)
(Either way... it most definitely wasn't under the Hero's control. Yet he pushed through.)

...
(Blink stretches his arms... doesn't seem he wants to move. Heck, Rink gets the feeling Blink doesn't seem like he really cares... but what does that say, if anything?)
