-He folds his arms, looking at her-
...I've explained what happens when Getter Rays get out of control.
...But that's not the whole of it, I suppose.
The Getters....They can change. The Getter Rays that power them gives them infinite strength and potential. They can evolve, they can adapt.
The Getter they were using was the most advanced one to date. Immensely powerful, nigh-unstoppable...In the midst of an overwhelming battle....it simply evolved too much. It consumed its enemies, assimilating them, making them a part of itself....and did the same to its pilots.
...It was far and away a much more advanced Getter Robo then the one we're building, however. Light years worth of difference.

...Or become strong enough to overcome it. To control the Getter Rays, not be controlled by them.
I don't see the human race of any universe managing that for a long, long time, however. I've seen it first-hand, I've piloted them. I know what this energy is capable of.
....I have nightmares about that Getter. It continuing to feed, and grow stronger. Of what it could become.
....Of what it will become.
...Huh- what-?
-He looks around for the sound of the voice referring to him, then notices hhhhHHHHHELLO-
...Uh-....Wh-....Hab-...Gah-...
-Catches himself gawking-
...Yes! Yes- Stargazing, yeah. YYYYEP.
......
-He chuckles, looking up at the ceiling-
...For a kid, she sure talks like an old man.

Hey, that's something to look forward to, at least.
(Rico) Heh, I figured. So what's up with the lightsaber you got there?
>("Basically...")
(The land of Hyrule was devastated by a Great Calamity one hundred years ago. A world-destroyer, Calamity Ganon, awakened from his slumber, leading the Hyrulean crown to unearth an ancient army of mechanical Guardians to fight him. That army's crown jewels were the four Divine Beasts - the giant robots Link mentioned fighting.)
...
(Ganon took that army for himself, destroying the kingdom. He was sealed away, but his presence cursed the land for a century... and it was only two years ago that Ganon was destroyed. Only then could Hyrule rebuild.)
