-Sthesia hears a shing kind of sound from the basement, as well as the sound of conversation- Und I'm telling you, zhat you need to get avay from zhe job every now and zhen!
But I love my job! You even stopped me in the godddamn middle of it to drag me to a place I hate!!! Why did you even need me to be here, again!?
No reason, mein freund!~
I hate you.
Well... let me think... -thinks back- It was a few months ago, and I was y'know- just doing an advert for it...
I think the premise was that you and your opponent are two Outland Gang bosses, trying to take over the others' base using a menagerie of different ramshackle vehicles, personalities and Outland bots...
Buuut that might be the video game promo i did... because there is another one where all the monsters are genetic experiments and you're rival mad scientists.

-Aichi can't help but feel that that's probably from a video game rather than a card game, but then again who really knows? There are probably all sorts of card games out there... Why couldn't there be one with one of these premises.-
"It sounds like it was an interesting game to promote."
Oh, both of them were a tonne of fun. I even got to work with a major league pro on the Mad Science one...
Dr.9 was like- the 'villainous' kind of rival player. I was the good one! But- y'know, working with the on-stage personality of supervillain, of course that's how it'd work out.
Besides, she got to eat more of the screen-time than I did.

"I'm glad you had fun!"
-Aichi then thinks for a second. He's never really played video games... Heck, the only hobbies he's ever really had were playing Vanguard and drawing*... Maybe he needs to try more things...-
"I've never really played video games... Are they difficult?"
*In one of the ending themes of Vanguard Aichi pulls out a notebook of doodles he did as a kid. So presumably he used to draw before he played Vanguard? It's not much to go off of, but it's something.

It really depends on the video game, honestly!~
I play them a lot, even in my off time.
It was actually what I was doing before you said hi!
Like- some are puzzles and those really just take like- time to figure it out.
Others you can just mess around in, and there's no real end to the game... some have stories, and others are just a lot of action.
It's a whole different game in Multiplayer but then a lot of the time, there's teams so you can still kinda learn!
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this postIt pretty much is. That's how it's always been since the earliest records of ... what was it again, the One Year War?
It's the organisation that I work for, Aichi. We've been essentially keeping an eye on things since the end of the Calamity War.
(Sthesia, curious, decides to carefully move to the basement, curious about these voices.)
"We all fail. We all make mistakes. That is what makes us human."-Sthesia notices at the bottom of the stairs, a very militaristic woman holding some sort of small device, while talking to a compatriot who has a sniper rifle- Vell- you're here now, so you have to enjoy it! -she appears to have a very thick hollywood German accent-
-the compatriot does not look amused
◊ as he just huffs for a moment- Fine. Just- show me where I can shoot things. It's been a while.
Vell it's been a vhile for me too! -wrapped up in their conversation, they do not notice Sthesia immediately-

-Aichi's intrigued by all of the types of games Missy mentioned, but responds to Michael first.-
"Oh..."
-'Calamity War'...? His world suffered from a war? Thankfully it seems like the war is over from the way Michael is talking, but Aichi being the idealistic kid he is seems a little melancholic about the idea of war.-
"Your job must be really important then. To have to deal with the aftermath of a war..."
-Aichi also responds to Missy.-
"It sounds like there's a lot of variety."
(Sthesia, quickly noticing the armed individuals ducks behind the wall next to the staircase. Who are those two and what are they doing here?)
I think General Answer called them the Earth Federation and... Zeon? Why?
Eh, after 300 years, the world's more or less okay, apart from the occasional pirates and whatever the hell's going on on Mars. Though, strictly speaking, I'm just a part of their internal affairs division.
"We all fail. We all make mistakes. That is what makes us human."Anyvay, come on. Lets grab somezhing to eat in zhe kitchen, Sniper.
Ugh- okay, okay. Vacation time it is...
-they start walking up the stairs towards the kitchen- Vhat do you vant anyway?
Eh- I'm feelin' chicken.
-nods- Yep. There's a tonne of variety to video games.

-Mars? Aichi guesses that this is another universe with space travel of some kind...-
"Ah. I'm glad that things are mostly OK then."
-He's a little less melancholic now that he's heard that. Granted the idea of war is still a serious one he's glad that Michael's world isn't too terribly off... As far as Aichi knows at least.-
-Aichi looks over to Missy once more.-
"I might have to try some someday..."
-Considering Aichi has been unable to play Vanguard during his stay in the Room he really hasn't been able to do anything. Heck, he doesn't even have access to a sketch book and paper!-

I guess so, yeah...
(Uh-oh... She quickly composes herself before she would... run into them, or something. So, she quickly heads to the counter to boil a kettle.
She could do with a cup of tea, anyway.)
Thanks, Aichi. I appreciate that.

"We all fail. We all make mistakes. That is what makes us human."Well- if you want to try some out, I'd be more than happy to try and figure something out! Though- I play my video games internally on my Operating System...
I just materialise a phone in my hands in order to show people what I'm doing.
-the woman and her companion walk into the kitchen, as she looks over to Sthesia- Ah-! Can you put some in for me? I'd kill for a coffee!
-the man with the sniper rifle on his back walks to the fridge in order to ascertain what he could make for himself-
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this postOh- I have nothing else to do... it's really no big deal!
Dankeschun, fraulein!~
And oh- don't mind Sniper over zhere. He's just a grumpy sort.
Hey! I can be happy. Just not when I've been dragged out here because you thought I needed a vacation at Christmas!
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this post-jess just look at lune, blankly-
-then at leos- I am observing and examining this giant steel shell that I have only seen in the electronic television boxes and assumed would only start being made in the far future. I am surprised and amazed that it looks humanoid and similar to the tiny plastic versions I only see in the country I do not live in in the far east known as Japan.
Where did you find this large electronic bipedal war machine known as the giant robot?
-WOW! wordy and bored-
LOVE IS STORED IN THE AXOLOTL!

Main Room (Aichi)
-Aichi doesn't know what Gjallarhorn is... Apparently Michael's part of their Inspection Bureau though? Whatever the case it sounds like it's pretty important.-
"A-Ah. I've never heard of Gjallarhorn... Is it something from your world?"
-Perhaps he seems a little clueless, but at least he's being honest. He then perks up a bit when he hears Missy show interest in card games-
"Ah, you think so? I actually play a card game called 'Cardfight!! Vanguard'. It's really fun!"
-It's evident that he seems to have gotten more comfortable speaking when discussing card games... Particularly Vanguard. Considering it's a subject he's a bit more at home in it makes sense.-
"What was the game you did a promo for like?"
