-Aichi is finishing up his attempted breakfast. He's managed to upgrade his cooking from bad to... tasteless. How he accomplished making his meal completely and utterly tasteless is unknown, but at least it doesn't taste bad.-
"..."
-He seems to be in thought. He's wondering what he should be doing. Despite his time spent here he's still unsure of exactly how to spend his time. For now he is just sitting at the dining table.-
Kitchen
"I've been... fine. Nothing bad has happened..."
-Barring being yanked away from home in the middle of an important tournament... Not to mention that Aichi isn't exactly the most independent and is way out of his element. As evidenced by his lack of cooking knowledge and inability to wake up by himself easily. He has been struggling, but he's not about to bother anyone else with any of that.-
"I'm not sure what I should be doing. I don't really... have the nerve to talk to people."
Kitchen
"I don't have a lot of hobbies, but back home I played a card game called Cardfight!! Vanguard. It's really fun!"
-Aichi seems to visibly perk up quite a bit when talking about the game. It's obvious that this card game seems to mean a lot to him. Aichi is admittedly a little curious about the object Leos set on the table, but Aichi figured it wasn't his place to ask.-
Kitchen
-Aichi begins to think of how to explain Vanguard to someone. He recalls how Kai taught him...-
"Well... both players have a 50 card deck. Then they have to place a Grade 0 card in their Vanguard circle and..."
-He stops mid sentence. It would be so much easier to explain the rules to the game if they played the game, but that's impossible.-
"... Oh! I can let you look at my deck as a reference as I'm explaining."
-He pulls out his deck and sets it in front of Leos-
"You can look through my deck if you want."

"If you look at the top left corner of the cards you should see a number. There's 0, 1, 2, and 3. That's the 'Grade' of the card. You want to have a good balance of the different Grades."
"Both players start the game by getting one of their Grade 0s from their deck and putting facedown in the Vanguard Circle, which... um..."
-Aichi places his hand a bit in front of him on the table-
" ...would be around here on the table. There are five spots around it called 'Rear Guard Circles' here, here, here, here, and here..."
-He places his hand two both sides of the 'Vanguard Circle' and behind all three of the front row circles-
"After that..."
-Aichi's still trying to piece together how to explain the game. He'll definitely have to keep this experience in mind for any future attempts to teach someone*.-
*He actually does end up teaching people after Season 1 so consider this a precursor to him actually figuring out how to explain it.
I probably should have had Aichi start this whole thing with the little "Picture it!" speech, but I figured that would probably be better when starting an actual game. This is really difficult for me to write, but I'm trying.

"Like I said you need to get a Grade 0 out of the deck and place it on the table. The one I've been using is called 'Wingal Brave'. So if you see it in the deck you can set it in front of you in the Vanguard Circle.
-Aichi is beginning to miss the tables at Card Capital. It was difficult trying to explain the spaces on the field without a mat or something. If Leos looks through the deck he should find Wingal Brave.-
Just for a reference to the actual card.

Well those small things... They help.
Trust me, my friend does a good job at keeping me calm.
