Every paladin I've seen across the planes claims that their swords will protect the innocent. Yet swords have never arisen in a plane's cultures unless they need to make weapons specifically for war. Now, why do they say "sword" instead of "shield"?

Black mana isn't the only color that can harm or kill. All the others can. All have been wielded by wizards and planeswalkers that most would consider "evil."
And yet, all five colors of mana can be used by those you would consider noble. Magic is a tool for the wielder to use, nothing more.

Well, I'm not illiterate. So I don't have to ask if that's not a very powerful poison for rodents that I presume are of an unnatural size.
