(now she's just laying in Lansie's lap, the only clue that she's awake being one of her half-open eyes still watching Brave)
Mm. Pokémon are the creatures that populate the world I come from, alongside humans. They have survived for longer than we have, but our actions, if unchecked, can raise a hazard for them.
My apologies. When I meant "powerless", I meant the animals I've seen don't have the mystical powers that Pokémon tend to wield. Or the sentience and heightened intellect that can, in some cases, even exceed those of humans.
(turns back to Brave)
Anyways - it's my job at the Aether Foundation to ensure that Pokémon remain safe in the wild. Combating poachers and working to conserve endangered species - among many other things.
Just putting this here

(To "Ultra Kale") Different universes? How is that—?!
(He stops speaking, having come to an apparent conclusion. This isn't a simulation. Not like General Answer. ... Sthesia's going to kill me.)
(To Ashuraman) Uh, thanks. I guess I can find someone to help me. Thanks for the help.
(He walks away in the direction of the shack, hoping to find some answers about this place.)
"We all fail. We all make mistakes. That is what makes us human."Well, Eires, there's a human with ash brown hair and a rather... complicated outfit
he's wearing there.)
(...Heck, one could argue it's even more gaudy than Michael's outfit.)
"We all fail. We all make mistakes. That is what makes us human."(Yep, you're totally invisible to him, Eires. Totally invisible. There's no way he'd see you coming if you ambushed him, or something.)
(...Oh, hold on, he's starting to head towards the house. That seems suspicious, doesn't it? What business would anyone wearing that have around this place?)
"We all fail. We all make mistakes. That is what makes us human."(...Good point. Still, he seems particularly harmless, and the guy is actually hesitant to knock on the door because he's not sure if anyone's up or not.)
"We all fail. We all make mistakes. That is what makes us human."

...I'm sorry to hear that. I really am.
