The Saiyan duo are on edge, though Kale's taking it far more seriously. Caulifla moves in on Roo's character to attempt a reversal attack in the middle of his button-mashing streak. However, that may be interrupted by the incoming tornado heading towards them.
Kale's character decides to jump ahead of Caulifla's position once more, though this time she seems to have found the dedicated block button. She holds down on it, attempting shield the attack to give her boss's own attack time to complete.

(@Flame Stag) D-don't worry... I, um, was the s-same way.
(The reversal works on the tornado, but Marcia's already got a plan set up. She deliberately moves her character into the fray. If they fall for the bait, Marcia's character would go into a block frenzy and follow up with a devastating super attack
.)
At this point, Caulifla's character health is around 50%, while Kale's around 15%. Despite this, Kale rather insists on playing defensively for Caulifla's sake. The introvert fumbles around the controls some more, accidentally falling into Marcia's timed blocks while calling in the musical grappler to pour it on.
Then, Marcia's brutal counter destroys Kale's current character. In fact, to rub the wound, the defeated character triggers a stage transition into a new setting. As if Kale didn't feel enough presurre. As soon as Kale is swapped into the musical brawler, Caulifla opts to throw an interactable to catch Roo and Marcia's characters offguard.

You cannot withstand my dogged pursuit, Barbarian!
AH-HAH.
