...Halo... 2?
...Mrmm.
(winces from the last band-aid that Greninja slaps on him)
Right, uh... I'm Hoshi. This here's Greninja, one of my Pokémon—
(the Human-Sized Ninja Frog gives a bow)
—and I am going to need a really, really long nap. Thanks, Gren, and see the rest of ya in a good, long while...
(yawns as he recalls Greninja into its Poké Ball, then begins walking towards the roof access)
...Eh, I dunno about that.
Then again, a good chunk of Gjallarhorn's assets is codenamed after various things from the Old Norse legends... and the occasional Old Roman god as well.
It's rather surprising how much of the old legends can survive an apocalyptic war, isn't it?
"We all fail. We all make mistakes. That is what makes us human."(As he runs, he slams into a low tree branch.)
"Ow! DAMMIT!"
(Enraged, he begins to emit an aura of killing intent. [1]
◊)
"DAMNED TREE!!!"
(He punches the tree, uprooting it and sending it flying into the atmosphere, taking several other trees along with it. A large shockwave echoes across the land)
(His bland expression returns)
"I'mma get a sandwich."

bork-just nonchalantly watches the tree fly- Poor nature.
Sometimes things just have a plain and mundane answer.
Why are we able to adapt ancient Roman or Greek plays, despite our differences in time and culture?
Because we still find identifiable characters and archetypes that we can use.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this post(well, Sav - this garage can be divided into two halves)
(a neat half where Skyla's pink roadster rests, covered by a tarp for good measure, along with space for a second roadster)
(and a quite messy half filled with electronics, tools, a rollaway bed, and other things)
(...including a TV and game console!)
Er, sorry - I woulda cleaned up if I knew I had company...

Oh- right. My name's Johnny Rodger.
The fairy behind me is Aelfi.
Yep. Last fairy on earth back home. Genuine endangered species.
