Yeah, well, you know what?
I killed a man for exactly the same reason, and yet some people here raised hell over the fact that I killed him, even though I tried to explain my reasoning to them.
Despite the fact that I think they're wrong, they had a point. Mark my words, the same thing will happen to you.

"We all fail. We all make mistakes. That is what makes us human."(again, that ring on his right hand is giving off something resembling a magic signature)
(but so is that white wristband on his left wrist that's studded with crystals and marked with a stylized "Z" where a watch face would be)
(both of them aren't giving off very strong signals, but they also give off the sense that their power is being intentionally restrained)

(Hoshi doesn't notice Homura still peeking at him, as he turns away to start his search for a PC)

(he flexes his right hand, obviously getting a feel for the ring he's referring to - and as he does this, the gem on said ring shines a little bit)
...Because you were willing to harm my friend.
If I were in your position, I would've stayed my hand for a few days to see what my target was really like.
(smiles confidently) Maybe you should consider that piece of logic.
