I need to not... rely on Tifa and Barret for everything. I mean, before they let me live with them, I was doing alright in the old church. Elmyra — a friend's mother, I mean, not the bird, she'd send me food sometimes. Or old clothes that used to be her husband's.
Now that I don't have them anymore, I don't really know what to do with myself. Gotta... gotta figure that out, I guess.
[Met a guy named Hal. He's pretty cool, but it's weird - I've never seen his species before, not in any of the universes I've seen. Well, guess even I haven't seen everything.]
[Someone read my diary. This isn't safe.]
[Hal tells me he's like me. So there are more of me! That's amazing! He even says he's more powerful, so maybe he knows more! I gotta talk to him again sometime.]
-To Forrest-
"Uh, I was...just gonna read..."
(After saying his goodbyes to the green-clothed swordsman and the rabbit, Michael heads back inside to the main room)
(He notices Oriana and Forrest (He doesn't know their names) and decides to say hello to them)
Greetings. I hope I haven't disturbed the mood.

"We all fail. We all make mistakes. That is what makes us human.""Oh, it's about, um..."
-Proceeds to describe the plot in excruciating and oh god the characters are one-dimensional stereotypes, the story is stock, the setting is boring, there is nothing interesting about this-
-Shakes Michael's hand-
"Oh, I'm Oriana..."
-Her eyes look...weird-

Besides the fact that she can turn into a bat? I think that means she's a vampire...wait. Why is your mom a vampire?
That doesn't sound too enthusiastic...
