-a bitter chuckle, almost with a mad glee-
Yes- y-yes... yes I have...
Over a hundred years, I've had the secret of invisibility, without an antidote to turn back...
In that time, I've managed to improve my invisibility- to keep with the times... but no antidote exists...
Nothing that exists permanently...
For one of my earlier iterations- the first iteration of my invisibility formula... I had- I had an antidote... at first it lasted for seven days!
Seven... seven days... a whole week of being visible... but it had diminishing returns... and I would slowly turn back invisible at the end...
First the hair goes... then the skin shrinks away to a white like porcelain- before it clears up... you become red like blood- as it starts to work on the muscles- the bones- and then the nerves!
It all- turns clear...
Nothing has worked... And I must find a way to turn myself back- through science... some- formula- an antidote- I must find it... then my work will be complete...

1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this post-nods- Exactly...
This- isn't something a man can solve with a genie in a lamp...
It must be done by my own hand. A scientist- hell- I shall use alchemy if I have to...
But it must be- replicated... and reliable.
I can't make an invisibility formula that has no way back.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this post"Yeah, I get that...look, this is kinda a lot to take in, but like I said, I'll help. If you'll let me."
-Shantae heads for the door, but turns to face Homura one more time-
"Hey, an agreement. You promise to let me know when you've got a problem, I promise not to die. Deal?"
-She says this with an honest-to-god friendly smile
on her face-

Homura's Room
Homura: ...(it's subtle, but Shantae can see Homura get a bit pale) You best pay her no mind.
The damned queen and the relentless knight.
