Weird? Nah mate, when I think of it, it reminds me of how things were... before the war...
You ever remember how your house smelled when you were a kid? The foodstuff your mom cooked for you, the smell of your pets, your mums favorite air freshener? How it smelled entirely different from anyone else's home and one day you grew up and realized you couldn't smell it anymore, and it made you feel like something was gone, something had fundamentally changed? And now it's just a memory, something you can't fully recreate but you remember just enough of it to get all misty eyed when you spell those wonderful spices she cooked or how she made the oatmeal cookies just right?
They say smell is the sense most linked to memory, read all that on a blog somewhere, true for organics, true for techno-organics... I ain't ever gonna smell that smell again. I don't know how many of us there are now... less than a hundred perhaps... our species is dying...

What if I get back... and everyone is gone?

All our wishes can come true"...They'll be okay. I'm sure of it. I dunno all those things about parents, but I do know what it's like to remember home. They'll be okay when you get back, you won't be here that long."
3 months. Go that long without setting foot in your house, you can actually smell those things again.
And it's so easy when you're evil... This is the life for me, the Devil tips his hat to me...Alright, I know, I know I know I know, just... I'm more agitated than I used to be...
-hmmmm-
I really care about those guys...
-one in particular perhaps?-
My dad used to make stuff with onions a lot, that's what I think of when I think of home, frying onions...

All our wishes can come trueI dunno.
I've been this way all my life, i don't really have a point of comparison.
Though it'd be a lie to say that there's one aspect where my life would've been different if I wasn't one. Or well- more specifically if my friend wasn't one.
These days the whole- exotic nature of us and discrimination is largely in the past. But there's still some elements that are against us.
And... we happen to have one of those types in our class.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this post

"...Isn't that weird at all to you? I can't imagine smelling like that."
And it's so easy when you're evil... This is the life for me, the Devil tips his hat to me...
