Well I came here...! 'Cause... wait why did I come here again...
Oh right- yeah- bets.
-points a finger from beneath her shawl- Do you know... Rayko.
I'm not sure. I think he wanted something in the basement- he mentioned he was working with a 'Dio' though. Some kind of god, or something.
Or just a name.
Regardless-
There are a few main principles in Bartitsu-
To disturb the equilibrium of your assailant.
To surprise him before he has time to regain his balance and use his strength.
If necessary, to subject the joints of any parts of his body, whether neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, back, knee, ankle, etc. to strains that they are anatomically and mechanically unable to resist.
Those are the three things I keep in mind.

(@Kitt) Ah... This Dio is a scary p-person if he h-hires people, um, like that.
(@Ches) (listens to Ches talk about Bartitsu with rapt attention) T-that's pretty interesting... What, um, kind of weapons do Bartitsu practitioners w-wield?

Well, then I can't ask you shit.
Lets see... other bets...
-retracts her finger to place it on her chin- ... Does this place haaaveee... oh wait- I thought about making that bet yesterday, but then I realized that this isn't home. Pointless bet- forget about it.
What's your name. And did you get like that by choice or did you become undead because of someone else?
-nods- Mmm.
Usually- we use walking sticks, or an umbrella.
Originally it was made with the intention that it could be used to defend oneself on the street in an ordinary situation... back when any sort of gentleman would have an umbrella or a walking stick handy.
Though I've incorporated some knife-fighting techniques as well.
Otherwise- our weapon is our bodies.
We use our hands, and feet for strikes- both boxing and savate.
But more importantly, when possible or necessary- we use jiu jitsu to grab the opponent, and manipulate their body's mechanics and anatomy to our advantage, in order to subdue and disarm them.

(@Ches) T-that's amazing... (starts imagining herself fighting Frieza. This time, she doesn't go for the flashy energy blasts at the start. Instead, she turns Frieza's strength against him and aims at his joints at every opportunity she's given. Eventually, Marcia stands triumphant over Frieza) W-when can we start?
Good question...
I suppose, we could start tomorrow.
I'd have to get a curriculum in mind.
I think Audrey was learning under me too.
Don't know if she'd continue. Good to have someone at the same level as you to train with.
Its' also because Ches is too good at it to be able to teach through sparring- until you get to a pretty good level anyway.

Okayyyy. So what do you people do around here...? The booze isn't too great- I tried some of it.
-starts laughing mid-sentence- So you're all not getting drunk, that's for sure- right?
See you around.
-the door closes behind Marcia-
-Rayko is still on the roof-

-Rayko is upon the roof, drinking a bottle of beer-
-whilst looking over his PDA-
-working away at it-
-Purr still exists, she is situated in the main room, sketching away-
-Yuri, is sat in the kitchen corner, drinking away from her massive ceramic jug-
-she is still covered in a shawl, obscuring her features-
-As for Ches and Kitt, they are upstairs in their room reading books, and taking a quiet day-
