Not always. Informal contracts are difficult because I can't analyze specific words, and use semantics.
In those cases, I have to go by what I am told was said, and what actions are being followed through.
Though, having become what I am- it gave me time to learn the magical ability to analyze laws. So- in a way- i can read even the informal ones, as long as it was done by a magic of some manner or form.
Having no use for sleep, eating, drinking or even breathing is a wondrous thing.
I can fully focus on my pursuit of law.

As Benjamin Franklin said- two things are unavoidable- death and taxes. The second will follow you into death. Though I haven't technically died- semantics.
But if you're thinking about it- you won't have to pay in gold.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this postWe used to use gold. But when greed is one of the major sins, we had to adapt or else inflation would rise exponentially, in an infinite loop.
So, to discourage greed- we changed the money to be made of a common element, but one that is so dull looking, that people simply don't want to look at it too much.
Removing the allure of gold. We make the money start out worthless- because it's iron and not gold. I'm a minor contributor to inflation- it's unavoidable, though.

-nods- I've dealt with all sorts.
Usually my client is arguing against an oversight that was made, or saying that the whole deal wasn't followed through- or they feel cheated due to the use of loopholes.
I remember this one man who asked a demon to help him, as was termed in the contract "Get the ladies" but the demon did not understand the euphemism. -under his breath- And my client didn't understand legal language, and couldn't write a contract to save a life. -clears his throat- He came to me because, he ended up acquiring an angry mob- which makes me believe the demon decided to pay his greed a punishment- finishing that sentence with "to hate me."
