-Gracia is now right in front of her, reaching out to put her hands on her shoulders, then gently pressing her forehead against Audrey's, just basking in the shared experience-
-Audrey is finding it hard to find her mental voice, and hard to distinguish her emotional state from Gracia's. She is feeling things from Gracia that, neuro-chemically speaking, her brain cannot process-
-This is what Gracia feels, all the time. This is what is normal to her. It's so alien, and yet to Gracia it is familiar and normal. What some might see as sadness or happiness from her superficial expressions is in fact very different to what they understand and feel. Like a man going his whole life thinking blue was red and vice versa - how would anyone else ever know he was wrong?-
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?(Gracia will find some kind of...thing trying to push her away. It's like she's triggering some kind of defense mechanism, a mental shield meant to protect her most important thoughts. Not just private thoughts, we're talking beating her heart, breathing, thought itself...)
I don't...I don't get it, it's pretty but I don't get it...
...
-Ches just watches on, not sure what's going on-
-but he doesn't like it- Never thought I'd have to use this.
-he takes out an airhorn from his pocket-
-and holds it up in the general direction of Audrey and Gracia, but keeping it far enough from their ears that it won't be too damaging-
-"I hope this is as distracting as I think it is. Otherwise I have nothing to stop psychics. And I'll be back to the drawing board on anti-psychic defense techniques."-
-he presses down-
-BWWAAAAAMMMMP-
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this post-Audrey will feel Gracia's mind gently brushing against her shield, curiously-
-Before the airhorn hits her and the connection snaps, Gracia crying out and stumbling back, covering her ears-
Loud!
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

I'm fine, you?
-looks up at the bird briefly-
