Granddad- you know my family history is... not the best.
And I will admit- that I have inherited similar traits to the invisible men before me... but what separates them from me- what separates me from my father and grand-father as well-
Is that I know who I am. I know the mistakes of my predecessors- and I only became invisible, because I wanted the name of Griffin to mean something again- not a short-hand for trouble among the informed.
I don't want to fight the government if I can help it. I want to see justice in the world- I want to make a difference where those before me failed to fight their own personal problems- who fell to madness because they were weak.
I'm a Vigilante- that's why I chose these bandages. That's why I must be secretive. And- if you must have confirmation.
-he reaches into his pocket and produces a PDA, readily on a profile page of Chester Griffin-
This is my profile on the VIGILANT network. I'm registered as The Invisible Man. Due to my request- it is an unlisted profile, and requires several layers of security to access. Even government intermediaries aren't allowed to see it on normal occasions. Because the nature of my powers require the public at large- to consider me a rumor.
... And I'm supposed to trust that this is true?
