Time dilation, or needing to wait for people to arrive?
Because waiting for people to arrive is perhaps one of the most common things I do as a vigilante specializing in detective work, and my only superpower is being invisible from the skin level down.

There was a serial killer that had a knife that petrified people- turned them into statues.
He didn't know how he got it- it was just on his pedestal.
I helped put him away- he got out on parole, soon after that knife went "Missing"- and while I was watching him to make sure he was good, he found a miniature time travel device- not big enough to transport a person.
But- of course- he put that knife of his in there.
So, a stable time loop was created.
That's all my experience of time travel.
