If they had the gall to show their faces, it'd depend on the severity of it.
I'll relay how I personally feel about traitors though.
The warning I gave my crew- when we first started out. I told them they all had two options- return home, and never bear arms, or stay on board my crew.
But I told them- that if any of them ever tried to betray me, then I would make sure that their world crumbled, until all they'd want is death. And that is when I'd give them that as a show of mercy.
Since that point- my crew has always been loyal. Hardly ever a traitor in all my years... though I suspect one led to the fall of my State.

Maids, Butlers- both are types of servants. I come from an aristocratic background, I remember having maids around the country house.

Merchant ships. Anything carrying trade. That's where you have money, that's where you have to raid.
If they co-operate, no-one gets harmed.
The world-powers are powerful enough on their own, after all.
And some trade ships might make it to their destination regardless.
