-he picks some stuff up as well-
Gardening must be a profession unknown in these lands, then.
Though thanks anyway- I just need to carry this stuff to my room, anyway.
Well, if there's nothing after death...
Then the bright side is that at least there is no torture, or hell.
And that everyone gets equal treatment. The evil men, and women of your world will cease to exist likewise to the ones you love.
And that there is one thing that the death of others can't take from you- your memories of them.
As long as you cherish that memory- that person can still exist. You may not see them again. But the memory will remain with you.
It's better than nothing.

If you think of it that way- when you cease to exist, you won't be around to miss it. And others will have the memory of you.
It's a continuing cycle, of people remembering one another.
Y'know.
Compost.
Carried in wheelbarrows.

I'll admit it's a luxury not everyone has. In fact, I sometimes wonder whether I should stop doing it.
But- I can't leave him be. I respect his counsel too much, and I enjoy his company too.
Because my original model was designed for universal domestic applications.
If you had a kid that needed babysitting, I'd be able to provide it.
I can cook, I can bake, I can do just about any task you can call domestic.
Cleaning, gardening, veterinary applications too even, so I can take care of pets.
