-She presents her with an apple-
Of course you're fine. You have me.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?I'm alive and happy because of others. I can do the same for them now. I'm better than I was, and that means I can be useful when people are sad.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?I don't have any glue, so there's no problem.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Oh.
-Still does not get it-
Do you still want the apple?
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?...
-Takes a bite of the apple-
-She has no idea how to progress-
Um... can I come in?
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Mm...
I really do need to pay more attention to what Assassin can do.
It might've been a false image of some kind.

Right well... for me, when I was younger it was kinda easy going. Son of a rich merchant, yada yada yada. Relaxing- laid back, it felt like there wasn't anything in the world that couldn't be mine. All it needed was the right sum of gold, and the right people to talk to.
Society itself seemed lively in Carthage- market days were busy, and full of wares that had come in from the port. But at such a strong economic power-house... It also invited a bit of crime.
I remember walking the streets when I could get away from my fathers' shop, a few times I nearly got mugged but- well, I found out I had a pretty strong throwing arm. It was- summer, I was about 12, I was going to start learning how to be a man soon.
I was going over to the docks to get some of this salted fish that I really liked, fishermen from the North. I took a shortcut as I always did down an alley, and this- tall beast of a man steps out in front of me with this- big knife. The kind that removes a pigs' head.
He says to me to give over all the money I had, and being the kid with an attitude I refused, and said to him I'd only give him a single coin. I was annoyed, and apparently that gave the next thing I did- which was to throw the coin- a pretty deadly edge...
... It kinda embedded itself in his skull. I don't know if I killed him, but I pretty much ran back to my fathers' shop afterwards. I'm still good at throwing coins as a projectile though.

Whenever I'm sad by myself, I just get sadder. And then I reach a point where I don't feel anything, which I think is me being better because I no longer feel like crying. And then I go out and I realise I'm not better, I'm just empty, and everything is too much and I hate it even though I don't want to.
So I won't let you be sad alone.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?-nods- Well- I didn't know that it'd kill him, I was hoping it'd just distract him so I could run away.
But- anyway. Life in Carthage is sort of... it revolves a lot around the market.
Its' where people go for talk, food, luxuries. There were different markets- those near the ports were usually more expensive, whilst those further into the city were cheaper.
The most influential of Merchants met on this ship that was brought onto land and turned into a building. It was called the Rhecanus, I remember going there a lot with my father.
My life pretty much changed when I was about- 14. This representative of the government asked the Merchants to meet him at the Rhecanus. His name was Mintho.
Announced to us that the firstborn sons of the Merchants- which included me- were to be taken to be trained as an elite military force to protect Carthaginian interests, and they were collecting candidates. Life from there- got a little more intense, because of the training and learning.
That- was the formation of the Golden Band. Which I eventually became a Captain of.

-Walks up to the door an opens it-
-Hasn't even bothered to change out of her nightgown even though it's the middle of the day-
You don't have to look after me like this. I'm going to be fine.
