outside

eh it's fine. Not really sure how much you'd like it

Main room

yes, and it is also possible he's a machine...well more than likely, so the memories may be completely erased from his head

Outside

because to most people it seems boring unless they really explore it. hmmmm, though I should head back there to see if I can get weapons soon.

You don't need me. You never did. So forget about me.

...I'm gonna make sure that someone doesn't give up, if I can help it. So you shouldn't either.

Oh, so machines can't restore lost memories? I suppose that makes sense. Can't you... back that information up somewhere else? That's probably what I'd do - I'm a little paranoid about losing my stuff sometimes.

-smiles back-

Glad you're keepin' up with your schoolin' even though you're in this strange land.

I'll have to see later, if he is a machine and doesn't know, I want to approach the topic carefully

-Vrooom-

-He tears off into the distance-

We didn't get to do this enough.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

A shame.

-It takes him a few moments to get into the rhythm of signalling where he wants to go without taking control away from Nimbus entirely-

-Like riding a chocobo, only it's not distracted by food or spooked every couple miles-

Ah, right. It's odd, though, it's usually not that difficult to tell if someone's organic or not.

Main room

and despite the fact it makes me feel a bit sad, some people do consider it insulting to be called a 'machine'

Outside

sure I don't see why not

-Nimbus's reaction times are insane-

-Each turn and movement is as natural as a human's control over their own body-

Ah, that's true. It's hard to wrap my head around sometimes.

Oh. Is there a preferred term, then?

Main room

don't know, I just think it's because machines tend to be viewed as personalityless devices with no will of their own

outside

i'm surprised you want to come along, but I won't complain. Gonna need to make a call or two first to make sure the gun smith has weapons in stock.

"How do you wrap your head around something, anyway? I mean, how would that physically work?"
