It's arguably the same where I'm from too.
Tea's all imported. As is coffee, and chocolate.
But so much of it comes in that I can get plenty of it if I have enough money.
Though the expense of sugar is something I don't pertain to. Even if some people seem to prefer having it in their tea...

-sighs- But even if one prefers sugar in their tea, they should keep in mind the financial costs...
Its' one thing to remove some of the bitterness with milk. You can get milk cheap- but sugar? That's expensive.
Hardly a way to drink tea. It'd be quicker just to eat your pocket change... Either way, you're putting money down your gullet.
