Rhetorical. Was this what you had in mind when I told you not to make waves?
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Look. You're not in a position to repair your life. You're going to need me, like it or not, Caine.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?-new post because I don't want this to get buried-
Okay.
Tifa was everything I've ever wanted to be. She was beautiful, kind, and strong and not just because she could hit harder than most men. Whenever Cloud was in a bind, or letting his anxiety get the best of him she was always there to calm him down. The same went for all of us. She could just smile and make everything seem alright. She owned a bar too so guess talking to people was kind of her forte.
Cid was...kind of strange case. He smoked, and cussed up a storm, and sometimes it seemed like he cared about machines more than people...uh...no offense to you. But the truth is he was just kind of a dork, and actually really cared about the people he came across.
Vincent was quiet, he didn't talk about himself much. -chuckles- But he had this weird flair about the way he did things. It was funny to watch. But I guess I appreciated him because he seemed to listen to you, even when you were probably annoying the heck out of him.
And then there was Reeve...he was a nice guy really....you see Cloud's planet underwent a disaster. He was the one that gathered everyone up, stopped them from descending into shooting each other, and start rebuilding. He did his best to help out Cloud's family, because they were friends.
Nanaki was...he was really cute. He was this red lion thing that could talk. He seemed to take things way too seriously, but it was the way a kid took things too seriously. He was smart though and I really liked spending time with him.
Barret was the really big guy, he had some anger issues, but he was never mad at you. He was the kind of guy that'd rather be doing something about a problem than sitting around hoping it'd get better. And he had a daughter, an adopted one, Marlene, a really sweet kid. We let her mix the drinks sometimes. She...actually made a damn good cocktail.
And there was Shiro. Wow what could I say about Shiro? She was just a constantly ball of energy. And...even though it didn't always come out in constructive ways but you could tell she cared about everyone. She wanted to be nurse when she grew up.
And there's Roxas, not the one you know, the one I know. He was significantly more mellow. Sometimes he could be a bit clueless but the kid had lots of potential. He was almost as good as Cloud with his Keyblade. But he always seemed sort of restless like he wanted to be moving constantly. He talked about leaving home once, but we convinced him to stay a while longer.
There was...another me. One born in Cloud's universe. But she's not like me at all. No one knows where she even came from, well I do, and Cloud does. Me and her...we shared a brain at one point. It was weird. Some god apparently built her from bits of himself and bits of Cloud, partly to mess with him, partly to have a living tool. It didn't quiet work out for him though. Cloud treated her like a daughter, and though she was honestly a little bratty at times she came to care about everyone else. She and Shiro really hit it off, and she was going to be a full-time Mage.
And...then there was Hevel, Cloud and Tifa's kid. Just a baby. Barely could say word...but everyone was so proud to have him around....

Don't you live with a bartender?
-Peers down the hallway curiously-
