Silas: ...Ah, perhaps I should explain. I'm from the city of Yharnam, where, rather than knights to handle any problems that rise up like in the city, err, kingdom you hail from, we have the Hunters. Basically, our role as hunters is to find and kill any beasts we find, no matter how large and threatening. To do this, we have special trick weapons, like this, for instance.
-He pulls out a bladed metal cane, then flicks it to the side, splitting the blade into a serrated whip, before striking the ground and forcing it back.-
Silas: We're also trained in using a flintlock to create openings to attack, which is useful for a variety of reasons... None of which are causing damage, interestingly enough. I myself favor the blood sword Chikage.
-He draws out his sword, which, while blood-stained, doesn't really seem too special. Or able to transform.-
And it's so easy when you're evil... This is the life for me, the Devil tips his hat to me...Silas: I suppose. But that still doesn't explain how the beasts are capable of tearing through steel plate armor as easily as cloth. Better to move as fast as they do, in my opinion. It's also useful when facing rogue hunters, as well.
