After I managed to fix him, he pointed me towards the second kingdom... The Magic Kingdom...
He said that I demonstrated traits that one of his friends in the Magic Kingdom would find useful. He said that's what he was looking for when he got locked in the room all by himself. He said he didn't know how it happened, someone deactivated him and stashed him in there. I don't think I like that person.
So we set off for the Kingdom! It was quite an adventure, seeing as how we had to walk all the way there, met lots of humans and other beastlies. Eventually we managed to reach the front gates, and well... that's when I met master Yen Sid.
I was not his first apprentice, nor am I likely to be the last, but... I suppose luck was on my side. When we first went to his tower, we both thought that he had left, it was dark, the place was completely empty, if not for all the shuffled papers and floating books we would have never thought anyone lived in it at all.
Master Yen Sid, he's very old and very wise, and... somewhat stern, but magic can be dangerous if used improperly... He claimed that I had demonstrated the virtues that a magic user should have, most especially belief in the impossible. He had once told me that things around here work not because they could, but because we believe that they can. That it is one of the most important virtues a person could have. Trust, kindness, courage, a sense of adventure... without these things a magic user simply cannot be...
And so... I guess that's kind of how I knew that's what I wanted to practice. I live there now, in the Magic Kingdom in Master Yen Sid's tower. He gave me a uniform, a hat, well, bow really, and a wand to direct my magic with. I've been studying it ever since.
Both our king and our queen have studied with him. As have many other, quite powerful magic users...
and now I'm going to go lie down and wait for my heart rate to return to normal

Homura: (Lune) ...Yeah. (next part much more quiet) It is on my head, after all. (finishes coloring in lenses, lets them sit on the coffee table for a couple minutes to make sure they're dry)
(takes a few moments to digest Kareena's story) ...I see. That is quite a journey you've had, from what you've said.
Ya did good, lunar.
