Who is that? Anyway, Lan and Megaman are just children, albeit one of them is a sentient program. I have no reason to experiment on them Mr. Strife, I'm not some sort of mad scientist that wants to rule the world. That one has long since passed.
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanYer welcome.... I'm usually not this nice back in my own world.... eh heh...
-Mime stars at Nel worriedly. However, he instinctively flinches when Lifty mentions their own world. He checks to see if his antlers are still in place-
Yeah Cloud. Sniffles is a good scientist too. Sure, he's a total wuss when it comes to us stealin shit from him, but his inventions are always meant to help the residents in our town. Even though they mostly go awry....

DeerI never said you were out to rule the world. Besides, you people like using kids for some weird reason. Einstein dragged orphans off the street, Freud dissected his niece's brain while she was still awake... or maybe that was Jung, I get them mixed up. Fleming discovered penicillin by infecting his kids with Planet-knows-what, Gast took the orphan route as well, being too much of a coward to do things to Aeris and Ifalna — for which I'm very grateful, Hojo figured stuff out from yours truly and Zack, and Crescent... -chuckles- Do I even need to say it?
So tell me; how do I know you're not lying?

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistI was using the mad scientist tid bit as a reason not to experiment them, really, and I can't admit to knowing who those latter examples are, Mr. Strife, but I do tell the truth. I am a person who works in networking, not in any other sciences that involve human experimenting.
I cannot certainly prove I am not lying without being hooked up to a lie detector of any sort, but you will have to take my word for it. If it eases your view of me, I will admit to a single instance of experimenting on them, Mr. Strife. To this day, I do not regret it as it has only served to strengthen the bond Lan and Megaman share as brothers.
She said girlfriend! I'm pretty sure that isn't normal!
Lan! Don't be insensitive about her relationship with anyone! And stop yelling, she needs her rest!
(sweatdrop) As I said, brothers. Are you willing to hear what my experiment was?

mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanShhh, dude, she's sleeptalking.
Lan, that is an invasion of privacy, stop listening to her.
As I said, Lan and Megaman are my children, not a product of scientific experimentation, but of normal human biology. Megaman was not always the program he is, he was a normal human being with a name, Hub. However, he was born with a rare heart disease, and despite the advances of modern medicine, we could not save him. He died young, and we were all heartbroken by this.
It was around this time, Net Navis were being created. Artificial intelligences that serve to assist humans in their daily life and to combat the viruses we found on the new world we had made. The internet. I saw the invention of Net Navis as a way to give Hub a second chance and a way to improve the synchronicity between operator and navi.
By integrating his DNA with the program Megaman, I gave my son a second chance at life in a new world. The experiment was a success and I've never been happier with it as it has pulled them out of terrible situations they somehow get caught up in.
Mr. Strife. I tell the truth when I say I don't experiment on my children, there is just that one instance in my life, and I have never regretted it one bit. I have no intentions on experimenting on others if it will only bring them pain and suffering. I work in a science that wants to expand the world we live in and connect it all.
Feel free to pick apart my actions and any moral ramifications there are in there, Mr. Strife.

mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanIt's actually pretty hard for me to tell if this is sleep talking or she's just talking with her eyes closed.
I vote the former. She passed out exhausted, but it's actually pretty weird how she's talking like it's to us.
Nothing more, Mr. Strife? I certainly hope there is a slight change in your opinions of scientists and doctors.

(Has been lying down for a while, feeling the effects of the morphine. Is now sleepy. Shuts his eyes and falls asleep.)
(Meanwhile upstairs, Gendo has trashed the entire room in a drunken rampage. He is currently passed out on the floor.)
Goodnight all. :)
