And just because you seem to have does not mean you should wallow in failure for eternities to follow.
Come then, Mr. Strife. I may be a very busy reaper as of late, but the last thing I need is a soul that feels failure.
I will take you on a walk through people who have shared similar fates as yours as unbelievable as that seems. It can happen, right? If not feel free to ignore these last two parts.
-taps his scythe and a portal of green fire emerges-
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanIf you would like.
-inside, panels of the kids' adventure flash by in a swirling green vortex-
Allow me to tell you a tale of four children. All they had ever known was the world that existed around them. This was taken away from them by a game they had played, any purpose in their life before that game they had failed to fulfill it.
In that game they were given a new purpose, a new start in the world that had destroyed their purpose. Their purpose was to create a new universe. They faced many a trials and tribulations in their journey to fulfill this new purpose.
-the panels pause at John's discovery of the tumor-
In the end, they could not fulfill this purpose. They could never fulfill this purpose, Mr. Strife, essentially, they too failed their purpose in a new world that they had grown to know. But they did not stop and call themselves unworthy of a new purpose because they could not fulfill it.
-basically Cascade plays-
They defied the rules set in play to terminate them in event of failure. They escaped into a sort of limbo to defy those that plotted to end them. Now, they have a new purpose. A purpose they found after their old ones failed to be fulfilled.
Am I making sense to you Mr. Strife? Am I making sense at all? D:

mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanFind a new purpose, Mr. Strife. All these children have known has been essentially taken from them twice, yet they continue on and with a new purpose in mind.
-the panels slow down to show general ship and meteor shenanigans-
They don't look down in their failure now, do they?
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanAh. Is that so? Hm... what in the extent of my power could apply here...
Well, most I can give is a nametag of sorts.
-takes out the old piece of paper and replaces it with a pair of metal dog tags-
Hold on to these, Mr. Strife. If you wish to make your name significant, I highly suggest keeping it on you.
