He felt sorry for Cloud.
If you want, I could make your friends and family immortal. He sent an anonymous thought to him. It would seem to him like just an errant thought in his own head.
He turned to Cage.
"Peace for the realms? I could give that for free. But I do not know of your "realms" or where they are."

I think it would be safe for you if you didn't interfere with the realms. Although Shao Khan was trying to unite the realms, absorbing them into outworld, he was still evil, and likely wanted everyone under his tyranny. I ask nothing of you. -starts glowing green-
"You'd never do something as irrational as dying.""As I said, I don't know of your realms. However, it's in all likeliness that others of my kind do and have infiltrated and occupied it without taking an active role in the wars you fight. I was simply suggesting that maybe we could change that."
He shrugged. "It was simply a suggestion. And unlike your Shao Khan, we do not conquer nor control."
He flicked his cigar and stamped it before taking out a new one.
"We occupy."

-For some mysterious reason considers making his friends and family immortal, but then remembers vaguely why he left them to begin with, and realises this would be an inexcusable breach-

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon Alchemist-starts glowing green more- We Don't need help, and the Elder Gods have never stepped in the affairs of individual realms. They only try and maintain balance, what they don't see is that the pathetic tournament doesn't help anything! They learnt that and so Armageddon began, hundreds of us Combatants each laying down our lives to kill each other for a prize of power. The Elder Gods would sooner see you dead.
"You'd never do something as irrational as dying."I'd rather it was earned by hardships than just flicked away like it was nothing. For a Good guy you are surprisingly careless about the lives of those lower in power and what is truly best for them.
Armageddon began because of the Mortal Kombat tournaments, too many combatants, too much fighting. They had to end it. It didn't work we all woke up soon afterwards, Blaze was back in the pyramid and it all seemed reversed, we just carry on now like it was before Armageddon, yet we still remember it.
