Well, he was the old guy for starters. Like seventy or more. He was also speaking in some strange manner, understandable, but... strange nonetheless. He was also quite a pervert which - naturally - I do not approve. What's interesting, my Master's first pistol also had a spirit... But it got killed - somehow - once the new pistol and the new spirit appeared... That's kinda hard to explain.
(chuckles) Impressive, no? He was the best Assasin I could ever dream of... Sadly, he was also prideful and arrogant. He lost one of his arms because of that pride and later, the same pride took his life away from him. Would you believe he lost only because he considered dodging antique weapons a mark of cowardice?
Well, it's not like we don't have time for stories...
You have not heard about Komato Nanosuits then. Even the weakest of them are able to stop bullets from normal, non-nano weapons with ease. The problem is when your opponent has Nanoweapon at his or her disposal.
The girl who killed the Assasin we are talking about, happened to use one of Nanoshotguns. Impressive, even considering the fact she made her way through both Tasen and Komato troops with so much as single-digit bodycount.

...Not really. I think it's got something to do with robots or something, but....
The FFVII-verse's main futuristic gimmick is biotechnology. Other things (computers, miniaturisation, space exploration) are behind.

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistEBF = Epic Battle Fantasy, and the most advanced technology found is the Protector found in the ruins of the Kitten Kingdom. Pretty much all other technology (except for music based stuff and of course enemy robots) is courtesy of Lance

Still... Who would have thought? The girl with no combat experience with her own personal Nanofield, personal custom Nanoweapon and buckets of determination defeated the first Komato Assassin without any problems. She was smart enough to exploit his weakness to her advantage and killed him without any remorse. One of the few Komato she had killed...
Why does school have to get in the way of the important stuff
-takes off headphones- What's the converstaion again?

(To No Legs) I see.
(To Cloud) Indeed. She was very determined to achieve her goal. One of the sole survivors on planet Earth - or Origin, like my race prefers to call it - she first wanted to convince the leader of Tasen to leave her planet. It did not work quite well... Then, she summoned us. SOS signal informed us that Tasen are on this planet as well... Sadly, High Command intended on absolute anihilation of our homeworld. Ironic... Phantom Hammers were ready for Alpha Strike... And then she made it to my outpost...

NoLegs: That doesn't sound impressi- wait... did you just say dodge a NUKE!?
