Yes, fortune has delivered us a gift and we should be fools not to fully utilize it. However, the focus of our arrangement, yet to be realized, is lessons in culture of the human sect occupying this place. I should hope that a lesson has been devised by yourself, for I shall not want to waste any time.
-Vaguely smiles, seeming in a relatively good mood-

(Luma) I'm... okay. A Paolumu, it is. It's nice to meet you.
(she semi-bows, as much as a head can)
Never heard of that one before...
(Nephew) Well... I don't have shoulders. And Sis doesn't have a head. But I get what you mean, Mister...?
By the way, do you know a way out of this place? Any portals that could be summoned?
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiRight right um... lesson... uh...
-She looks around for something good-
-Then spies her journal-
-She goes to pick it up and holds it up-
Humans use these to write thoughts.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?-Looks at Uncle-
-Looks back at Maeva, nodding and listening-
What manner of thought ought to be recorded? Why should these things not simply be stored in the bank of mind that life possesses? Humans deal strangely with their souls and minds, strangely indeed.
-Pauses, speaking more quietly-
As an aside, a creature is to us making some manner of gesture. Be that a display of threat?
-He shakes his head-
Not that I know of. I get flown in here, so I couldn't tell you of a way out. Only civilization I know of around here is that house and some shopping center a ways out into the woods.
But again- monsters.
-He smiles at her, and offers his hand to shake-
Call me Nephew, by the way. And your name?

Humans forget things. Or sometimes it helps think to writing down.
-She looks to uncle, waving back-
Oh, that is waving is called. Humans do it for greeting.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?... forget. Yes. Humans are liable to find such a fate. That is correct, yes... but how is it that the transcription of thoughts would thus benefit the thinker? In what sense could such a thing be true? The notion, to I, Autonoe, would seem to be laughable, absurd. Never have I needed such a measure.
-Pauses, thinking-
... a shorthand for the greeting ritual...? This proves interesting for myself, yes.
-Waves at Uncle-
(Marcia) I'm, well good for now.
(Nephew) I know, but I haven't been able to come up with a name, and neither could Sis, so...
(Sis, somehow, manages to look worried)
(she points at Marcia, then points back at her head)
(seems she's suggesting that if you want to do anything, you could help suggest a name)
"Shake the dust." - Anis Mojgani-She opens up the sketchbook, showing her the writing-
-All in a turian script of some kind-
I write about my day. My thoughts. It is good and it is of help.
-The writing gets progressively scratchier and briefer the closer it reaches to the last entry-
-Aria reaches back to pat Gav-
We are...
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

I'm not a... reploid! I'm a...
-Luma glances over to Nephew-
I'm a monster! W-wait, no. I'm just a Paolumu, I swear!
I'm... I'm good...
What's a reploid?
