The "wake-up call" is an exception, not a rule.

But how much have you done to convince people to accept you anyway?

But I am a good man fighting a legacy of villainy.
I am an invisible man- where I'm from, the government puts me on a watchlist, because of my family's name- and the title of being an invisible man.

It is always an uphill battle.
But you won't get compassion if you don't try- and it's true that you won't find it just anywhere... but you can always have hope.
