I so very much want a non-mod old republic mode.

Which era of the Old Republic? KOTOR? Or TOR?

KOTOR probably.

Less characters to deal with, perhaps?

This is true. But what ground forces would the Republic have?

They had Republic soldiers, and mercenaries, back then.

They could fill in the holes for sure.

Aye.

...Which sorts of mercs, though?

Also, as that would be KOTOR, vibroswords for melee attacks? Or vibro-bayonets?

...Or perhaps just a rifle butt.

[up] Vibro-blades would be best if you want Instant Kill like in most modern FPS games. But-stock if you just want some damage.

Hmmm... Perhaps give clone elite wristblades like the Commandos have?

Droids beside the ones with staffs can punch or butt-stock, right?

I don't know. I know theres one scene in Attack Of The Clones where one droid punches another droid, so they probably can.

Let's wait until there's something more solid to base our opinions on.

Right now it's just rumor.

There's been growing rumors for a long time coming, so I think there's a bit of weight built up, yes.

So, who wants to put down their ideal Battle of Coruscant map(s)?

[up]Bespin platform level, BUT you can easily drop down to lower levels, though you run the risk of getting hit by cars.

Huh. Really?

I had something larger in mind, to give classic urban warfare, but also straight fights and air combat.

Three levels to the same map: Spires, Main Street, and Rubble.

That was actually what I was hoping for in Battlefront 2 when I first saw that Coruscant would be in it. Battles on the ground and in space at the same time.

That would just be one small part of course! It would just be something I would like to see.

What do you think is the easiest level in 2?

Personally, I think it's Polis Massa while playing as the CIS.

I haven't played 2, but I remember getting a kill count of well over 100 on Tatooine: Dune Sea as the CIS riding in an AAT. Poor Tusken Raiders never had a chance as I spawn camped them.

^^ Hmm... I do remember some easy ones, ones that you can sometimes win without doing anything.

Polis Massa is indeed easy as CIS, particularly when you play as Darth Maul, but without heroes... hmm...

Endor as Rebels comes to mind.

[up][up][up][up] Easy ones?

none are really easy. With skill, Kamino, but only against A.I.s. Dagobah can be, if you play it right. Kashyyyk Is decently easy for deffense, but the invaders get a lot of vehicles. If you can jack one the match is yours.

Also, hoth is fairly easy for the Rebels, baring Darth Vader. You just need to get in the turrets. If they take down the anti-vehicle turrets your in a bit of trouble once the AT-A Ts get close.
