For the last few days, it's been a mix of Journey's "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'
" and a medley of Jimmy Buffett songs, but especially "Come Monday
".
Carried away, by a moonlight shadow~
This stupid song won't leave my head. It's not even the whole song, it's that little verse playing over and over in my mind. Damn Mike Oldfield and his catchy melody.
Just a simple man, making my way through the Tropes.Lately it's been the Atomic Betty theme song due to rediscovering that show.
"COCONUTS HAVE WATER IN THEM!"
That's a really good cover, as is the music video. Besides being an obvious reference to the hypocrisy of modern-day televangelists, it is also close to what has happened many times before throughout history.
I myself have this blaxploitation song stuck in my head. I love the build-up to the chorus, and how surprisingly well the orchestral violins merge with the funky bass-riff.
The Jane and the Dragon theme song has been stuck in my head lately, because of my Atomic Betty hyperfixation (Jane and Betty have the same voice actress, so I sometimes imagine Betty singing it)
