ALOT of these trope namers with their respective images can be JAFAAC-Fan Myopia. But there is a reason they stay up. I see no reason for Dumbledore. Granted yes I did read the Harry Potter books (but that was eons ago) but I wouldn't call myself a part of the fandom, just a casual fan. Either way, it's either that or...well probably imageless.
But some of these trope namers are that popular-that I doubt the fandom would want something else to replace the image OF their trope namer.....I dunno.
I personally see nothing wrong with it, if more disagree. Then obviously that would be a different case.

This is Mimi-don't let her cuteness fool you-she's got spunk.Well this trope is currently up for rename so we might want to wait on changing the image till we figure out exactly what this trope is suppose to be. Personally I think its more along the lines of Senile Old Man Hidden Badass.
(if this is the case the brandnew image on Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass would fit here)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!
But that isn't the only thing about the dumbledore. He is a combination of many tropes. Not just the crouching moron trope. Plus correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought its strongly encouraged to not use a same picture for two different tropes.
And for that matter...Mater Roshi (the new pic for that trope)...The Dumbledore????? O_o????

Its an example of The Dumbledore read the trope it comes out exactly as Senile Old Master Hidden Badass.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!
And again I'd disagree, because Dumbledore wasn't senile. Crazy and eccentric...but not senile.
And sense Dumbledore is suppose to be the this tropes Most Triumphant Example being the trope namer....I think well, I just don't think it's a good title for the trope.

This is Mimi-don't let her cuteness fool you-she's got spunk.Except for the fact that he played that to people around him so they let down their guard but when pushed he showed his badass qualities (which that's what the trope is written as at least I think there are some parts that need to be fleshed out better.)
This convo pushed it over the edge it really needs a rename.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!^I beg to differ. that name raso suggested is much more self explanatory than "the dumbledore (thats the topic of another thread). Still this trope needs a new pic.

Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.Considering we ALREADY had these discussions before in The Scrappy and The Wesley...that's not always the case. With the case of scrappy, most people on the thread agreed just to get a better image of scrappy. As for The Wesley....well, it seems to have gone inactive-but alot of people (including me, who doesn't and hasn't watched star trek) wanted the image kept and the trope name to stay. And it seems to have stayed that way.
This is Mimi-don't let her cuteness fool you-she's got spunk. The Wesley and the scrappy are Tropes Of Legend that's why they got a free pass ( their immunity is still open to discussion). The dumbledore isn't.

Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love. The way I see it, this will need an image similar to what we did for Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: a shot of an old guy acting senile, and a shot of the same guy acting wise.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyFallen Legend, you shouldn't remove pictures before we agree they're JAFAAC. Some of us are disagreeing. I am not among them—I think it is somewhat JAFAAC.

Well, it demonstrates the "old" part.
But yes, it is a bad picture. And I imagine it only contributes to misuse (people potholing The Dumbledore every time they mention Dumbledore anywhere).
Image re-pulled.

Really ?. Sure Harry Potter is very popular but this is an example of Fan Myopia at it's finest.
