One of the better things about Modern Family is how the actors are growing with each other. You can see how Luke and Phil read their lines off of each other that the younger actor is picking up Ty Burrell's timing with a joke.
BTW, best Phil Dunphy quote: "The Blind side was about the black kid that played tight end." "Offensive Line." "Sorry, African-American kid."
"I'm usually super careful not to leave any trace I was there, but this tub has sixteen pulsating jets and the entire floor vibrates with something called 'Swedish Release.' It took me twenty minutes to find my car in the driveway."
I love this show so much.
Writing a post-post apocalypse LitRPG on RR. Also fanfic stuff. The most recent episode. It aired Wednesday, I think? I watched it yesterday.

I loved Phil's quick speech to Andy, and later when it looks like he and Hayley are going to waffle around again due to his disappointment with Beth, Gloria solves the problem in two seconds.
Writing a post-post apocalypse LitRPG on RR. Also fanfic stuff.Yes. I don't know when the next one will be out, but I imagine early next year.
Writing a post-post apocalypse LitRPG on RR. Also fanfic stuff. It's funny I see so many people loving Phil. I watched the show till about the end of season 3 with my mom but she had to quit as she eventually found him an unbearable character. I continued watching myself and she will still watch a few episodes with me if she feels like it, but if Phil gets a lot of screentime she groans and does something else instead. Funny how different we react to characters.
"After 10 seasons of annoyingly easy, first-world-problem living, the cast of Modern Family is finally going to face a little goddamn tribulation and hardship"
Okay wow, this is ridiculously condescending way to start off.
Anyhow, after two years I decided to continue with this series. I forgot a lot of events so I started with the seventh season again.
You know...over the years I observed and learned the complexities of my own family. I came to realization...no, acceptance that my family is more dysfunctional than I realized and there are a lot of flaws, insecurities, and struggles.
Maybe that's why that now I get so much more empathetic when I watch this show. Sometimes I even ponder, when I start my own family what would that look like.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.I feel like I love/hate this show and I figured out why. If I could watch a show that followed Phil, Gloria, Haley, and Cam, this show would be hysterical.
With that said, I cannot stand how the kids in this show are written. When their dialogue is at its best, they're just annoying. Most of the time, though? They're unrealistic, obnoxious, and watching them is the perfect example of [fremdschamen](https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/fremdschA4men)
. They're just written as tiny bratty caricatures that smugly spout flat one-liners.
Necro, because the final season started to airing.
Yeah, that's right. This is the last one. This better not mess up like How I Met Your Mother...

Watched ep 18 of season 6.
I love how Haley and Alex is getting more and more closer.
I loved the plotline of Phil and Luke. Although I'm not a parent myself, I can definitely imagine the depression of an mid-aged man feeling overshadowed by his young and strong son. By the way, is it just me or is Luke getting more and more...I don't know a cool guy? I think it is a reflection of the real life actor.
