You actually missed a few steps. Specifically, see YKTTW, and YKTTW Guidelines. But the first step is to see if your trope already exists in some other form, which is what Lost And Found is for. Since you apparently didn't take that step, we're going to have to clean up after you.
Let's see... first, this is identical to Resigned to the Call. Second, your grammar is frankly ... well, not awful but fairly bad. Third, see above about YKTTW. I don't mean to be unnecessarily frank, but I am going to put your effort on the Cut List and ask that you put a bit more work into it, as above.
I may see your problem, you probably found one of the places where it is redlinked and decided to start the page. An honest mistake, a better one is to change the wicks to the proper trope... which I just did.
Reluctant Hero might be properly made as a redirect to Resigned to the Call, it's hard to believe nobody ever tried to make that one.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"This is how you greet new contributors? You forgot to put down my mother while you were at it.
You are probably too used to this system and don't see how it isn't easy to use for a beginner.
As for the trope's name, this IS probably one of the few tropes at this website that average people have actually heard of. Most of the tropes here have ridiculous names and are simply stretching it beyond the point of believability.
Star Trek: The Spider Galaxy http://www.TheSpiderGalaxy.com A TV show proposal. Not trying to be rude; I actually backed off when I realized you had lots of context to build on. Sorry. I am rather surprised that it hasn't existed until now.
Anyway, check out Welcome To TV Tropes. Once again, sorry.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Google "Reluctant Hero definition" and you'll see many entries.

I'm aware of that. You should take new trope ideas to YKTTW. It's our policy, because otherwise we end up with what you did - a stub with no examples, poor formatting, and few wicks. Most likely I'd solve the issue by making it a redirect to Resigned to the Call.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"But "Resigned to the Call" only covers part of Reluctant Hero. In fact, it is a sub-part of Reluctant Hero. It wouldn't work for Han Solo, the ultimate Reluctant Hero. He wasn't resigned to go and save Luke's ass on the Deathstar. He was dragged along (transportation provider), dragged/bribed into it (saving the princess), and then finally made a choice (saved Luke at the Deathstar).
If you say "Resigned to the Call" is just the same as Reluctant Hero, I find it humorous that Han Solo isn't mentioned anywhere in it.
One of the problems (I see) with this website is using terminology that average people don't use. If you were to go to anyone ... seriously, go up to anyone ... and ask them to define "Reluctant Hero", they will be able to give you an opinion on it. If you were to do the same with "Resigned to the call", I bet the vast majority of people will reply with "What did you say?"
I make my living as a marketer (thus I find it humorous that you rip on how I write) and this site could use a marketer to go over it. To come at it from the perspective of a first-time contributor to take them through the steps to become a good contributor. If you hadn't been so quick to attack, you would have read that in my first post in this thread.
In fact, there should be a guideline on how to respond to first-time contributors so you don't come across as an ass and drive them away but instead pull them in and get them to join the community. Skimming through the link you gave me to "Welcome To TV Tropes", I don't see where it talks about regulars doing that.
Star Trek: The Spider Galaxy http://www.TheSpiderGalaxy.com A TV show proposal.I didn't mean to come off as so harsh initially, but I'm sure as hell not going to beg for forgiveness given that attitude.
It is good etiquette (on any site, not just this one) to look at the available guidelines before you launch your first new article. A lot of new tropers launch things without consulting these guidelines and most of them get cut or taken to Trope Repair. If you feel that Reluctant Hero is a valid trope, then you should take it to YKTTW, where you will get the opportunity to defend it against concerns that it duplicates Resigned to the Call or other tropes.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Mm, we have the Trope Repair Shop for stuff like that — renames, redefinitions, etc. The Mysterious Inner Workings of the wiki (apart from examples and minor edits) take place there.
Also, Redirects Are Free.
The Welcome To TV Tropes page is more for visitors than editors, IIRC.
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.

This was a blank trope (just the title) so I thought I'd give it a shot. But it is pretty basic. I tried to read the guidelines that were linked to but just didn't quite get them. As mentioned in the discussion section of that trope, I would like to know how to put in a picture, a quote from a movie or TV at the top, hyperlink words in it to other tropes, insert this trope into other tropes with a hyperlink back, and put up an index at the bottom to examples of this trope in all kinds of other media.
I'll not do another trope until I learn how to do all the above.
