Borderlands 2

I am not too sure about gun customisation, since Borderlands Gun Drops made that system kinda redundant if used. Who knows? They might have huge variants of gun customisation instead of Countless Drops.

That would lead to too much numbercrunching if you ask me.

Originally the drops did take the form of countless customization. I prefer the current system.

Yeah, let me have the satisfaction of finding a kickass weapon that totally breaks the game for ten-odd levels! That was seriously the best part of the game right there, no exceptions.

There are only two things I really hope for:

• More loot. There was a point where you found the gun you were going to use for the rest of the game and after that it became a little boring. They should broaden the number of items the characters can use, à la Diablo. I want headgear, boot, gloves and other gadgets I can collect.

• More story. Borderlands had one of the most interesting settings and characters I have seen in years. Or better, would have had, if they had bothered to actually explore this a bit. Apparently they actually planned a number of cutscenes, but they were cut after the art change. The whole "Mad Max" setting is really cool, but sadly it remains rather bland.

I'll miss Knoxx though, shame we had to shove him off the mortal coil.

Customizable weapons, more vehicles, and NPCs interracting with one another all confirmed.

Also, there will be new player characters.

What would be amazing would be a system where I don't have to keep 4 different copies of my character because if I dare level it on my own, I then cannot play the game at all with my mates. That 25% per level shit is just crazy!

I wonder if Borderlands will be getting a discount anytime soon on Steam because of the sequel.

I mean, the GOTY is only 29.99 now (which I think is great), and it probably won't be going down, but still.

I've seen it on sale for $7.50 USD a few times in the past, so it's easily possible.

Explosive magazines. Bandit guns are shitty with huge clips and it seems Tediore won't be useless anymore.

Gewd news. Hopefully they can add some new manufacturers this time round.

I wish they had gone with a story-heavy game, like Borderlands Alpha was. Looks like we're getting that wish, thank goodness.

Gearbox are really good to us in regards to Borderlands.

I wonder if Atlas guns are gonna make a return. If not, then I always have my favorite brand, TORGUE!

If the Bandit guns are the ones with huge clips, does that mean there will be no more S&S? Or they'll probably change their gun philosophy for the sequel as well.

That's a good question, Hyperion always was good.

Hell there wasn't a manufacturer in Borderlands I DIDN'T like. My top two were Dahl and Torgue, though.
