Alright, so I made a post. I decided to introduce Cedi by having him find the platform where the priests were and have him witness the very last part of daltar's last post.
Also, since there are so many RPers, it's hard to tell where everyone is or even what everyone is doing, so I don't know which events Cedi should see and which he shouldn't know about...

Alright, Nick, let's take this out of the main RP thread...
Now then, I'm still pretty pissed that you can get away with so many poor R Ping choices without even the slightest bit of repercussion. But, I will concede the fact that autohitting you was unfair.
I refuse to believe that an enemy soldier wouldn't take advantage of the fact that you left yourself open. But I will change it so that it won't hit you automatically. However, I do want you to at least take note of the fact that because your character was so caught up with arguing with Anthony, he would be at least a little bit distracted from the rest of his surroundings. And the fact that spears are designed to penetrate armor, so saying Johnson's armor would protect him would be moot.
If you're willing to edit your post to take those factors into account, I'm willing to change to my post to be more fair to you.
Post edited, argument posts whited out.
EDIT: Ugh. That's not what I meant, Nick. You can't go back and say "Despite arguing with this guy and having a flashback, my character still stayed alert."
This is one of my problems with you; you always make it so that your characters are never vulnerable and always alert and ready to counterattack an enemy even when they should be by all means distracted.
Let me be honest here: The reason why I had the attack autohit in the first place was because I knew that if it didn't, you'd just dodge it or something anyway. And you still had your character just deflect it off their armor. Your characters pretty much fall into the trap of Boring Invincible Hero.
Tip: If you want others to want to keep playing with you, you need to learn how to take a hit, or at least make it seem like you can take one.

alright, fine. I am just used to more, well, nasty attack types. I typically have my characters in my stories facing Combat Tentacles, fire blasts, flying swords, supernatural stuff, and getting torn up. I am not used to simple spear attacks.
Well, as one of my favorite badasses once said, "Even the eyes of God himself can't block an attack they can't see."

Never underestimate the damage a surprise attack can do.

A worthy idea for incorporating into my story.
The Hero, Matthew, can heal from any wound coming from an attack he can see.
The Big Bad's Lieutenant would see the implications...
Alright, since the state of my internet has left me seeing this whole conflict without being able to intervene and it didn't fix itself up until you guys sorted things over, I'll take it as a signal that maybe it's better this way.
As such I'll leave things as they are, though I expect you guys to get along from now on.
The Dragon in this case went with a combo, attack from behind and injuring Matthew internally by a weird weapon.
Its odd, this Dragon is also the Knight of Cerebus I have planned...
mp3, I'm not buying the fact that your character could get into the range of a group of spearmen to stab one inbetween the eyes and then retreat without getting more roughed up than he did.
High agility or not, spears have more range than a sword and they greatly outnumber your guy.

Ah, sorry. I can change whatever per the operator's request....
"Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time..."
