Uh, nothing. I kind of forgot.

Though as awesome as the festival and Andrew/Kin shipping is, is there any chance of the plot stopping by for a visit?

The plot has arrived at our doors, carrying shiny helmets and plenty of lances.

How big is the explosion and would it be noticable to everyone in the festival?

It was a very loud sound, something that could be heard through most of the city... except in the parts where the festival is loudest. And even there the word will spread pretty quickly.

About fifteen minutes for most of the city to know of the current situation.

@Nick: Andrew wasn't running. He was scanning the crowd for a guard or someone he could notify.

Eh, I don't care - this time. Andrew would have run off eventually. It's what he does.

Tip: Sabina can't maintain the half-form for duration. It tires her out faster than the other two, as it's using the energy for both at once.

For reference, the helmets of the Stramdor soldiers are pretty much like the spartan helmets... just without the red horsehair crest on top.

"Confrontational townsmen." Anthony's been own of town three years, Johnson and Kincadis are mercenaries...

Well, they looked like they were going to start a fight, yeah? Confrontational. :D

And she doesn't know many of the townsfolk. You could'a moved here yesterday and she'd prolly peg you for a townsperson in a crowd. She doesn't know a lot about human culture, either, so she might not even think it odd if you're dressed like a peacock. Then again, most of the people'll be in celebration outfits and costumes, so... She might put anything down as normal right now....

I can change it if you want...

Nick: If she's a person in a black dress with no weapons and random tattoos all over her, how does he know Sabina's a guard? Especially since most people haven't really seen her often?

Also, when did Kincadis ever learn Rosemary's name?

he is talking to Delian. Kincadis is really not the Uke Stereotype you'd think he is.

When did he learn Rosemary's name, is what I'm still wondering.

For everyone to know, the dragon post has been thumped for now... in case someone didn't know how to react to big dragon dropping in the middle of the square.

Dragon, hmm, usually it will involve screaming, panicking, running, and a general need to change pants or two. :p

Trying to negotiate is more Too Dumb to Live than having two characters try to take on hundreds of soldiers by themselves without trying to at least rally some support from other people first?

Also, funny how Johnson and Kincadis have exactly the same idea without saying a word to each other. Must be because they're so similar. tongue

@Nick: Wouldn't exploding the soldier send shrapnel of his armor flying everywhere?

yes, but for Rule of Cool purposes, it would go in a direction where Stramdor soldiers get pelted by it.

Well, bye Atomic Nut. What made you decide to quit TV Tropes too?

Explosions don't work that way, and neither does the Rule of Cool!

Do you know how insanely lucky you'd have to be to get an explosion in just that exact way? Not to mention the fact that you're spraying every civilian around you with the blood and gibs of the soldier you just exploded.

Kincadis' eyes were glinted with utter lack of empathy, he looked a lot less like "Uke Stereotype" and more like "cold, sociopathic killer" in those instants. However, he did exercise restraint, knowing not to hit any townsfolk with his attacks.

He made a soldier explode. Not only is that not showing restraint, that could very, very easily endanger the lives of everyone around him, considering the Stramdor soldiers wear armor.

Your latest post is less your characters doing things, more "No, really, my characters are on your side and totally not doing collateral damage at all!"

Just own up to the fact that you didn't think things through when you had Kincadis blow up that soldier.
