Kim: (thinking) 46&2. Appropriate. Still slightly hesitant, but if this will help me understand Pokémon, then I’m all for it.
(She taps the center again; and all of a sudden, from her perspective, the sillohuette of a Pokémon shows up, along with katakana that are only visible to her. They flash so quickly she can’t see them, but they read:)

Kim: (thinking) One more time... this is it...!
(She steels her courage; then, as the music abruptly cuts out:)
Kim: “FORTY SIX AND TWO ARE JUST AHEAD OF ME!”
(And she taps the center one more time, looking down at her body as she does so in order to get a glimpse of the transformation that is happening. The first chorus of “46&2” kicks in, and within mere seconds, Kim has barely any time to react or to see what is happening. A flash of blue light is all she sees from her point of view. She tries to look down at her body to see the changes- and sees nothing but blue light.)
Kim: (thinking) W-what is thi-
(Unbeknownst to her, Ian, or anyone watching, her body has just imploded into a million pieces- and none of them are any the wiser.)
Paul: <Oh, sweet Arceus, she’s...!>
(For the first few seconds all Kim hears are Butterfree chirps- and then the last two words come in clear. The blue light is gone by this point, her body having rematerialized into... something.)
Kim: (groans) <Wha...? P-Paul? What just happe->
(She suddenly realizes that the voice she is hearing is not her own and quickly covers her mouth with...)
Kim: <A flipper...?!>
(46&2 fades out. Now curious and panicked and excited all at the same time, she turns to Ian.)
Kim: <Ian! Hikari! Somebody get me a mirror, stat!>

Rubbing her ears at Kim's sudden bellow, Amy needed a little to process her request. "Y'know - agh - you don't have to announce your transformation. You can just do it," she said, picking up Kim to take her to her room's bathroom's mirror.
A few pairs of eyes dug into both of them as they entered, some from Pokemon, others from humans.
Cam pointed to Kim behind their back, but the looks didn't go away.

Kim: <This is incredible! How did this happen?! I was trying to look down at my body to see the transformation so that I could write down the effects, but I got absolutely nothing... all I saw was a blue light and seconds later-> (She gestures to herself.) <I’m this!>
