-Diane manages to get ahold of Vierr's arm, and slips her armband on him to transform him into an Inkay. She starts swinging him around wildly in an attempt to make him dizzy, but it backfires and he swings her around using Foul Play, not disoriented in the slightest.-

Psyche is running a betting racket for the fight. Current odds are 40:1 In Diane's favor.

-The glitch pulsed violently as Volta as the Rotom spoke to it. The figure of the Mistress jerked violently backwards away from the group in a way reminiscent of a puppet being roughly swung around by a child.-

Kiaran: <Urk... so uh, what can you give up then?>"

-All of the pack's attention is snapped over to the sound of Cynthia breaking a branch. Ark tries to make a dash to escape, but seeing as flats are not the most practical of outdoors footwear, Ark promptly trips and falls. Kiaran catches her and puts the squirming girl over his shoulder.-

Ark: <Uuuuuughhhh, lemme go Kiaran! The lot of you guys are all traitors! traitors!>

Barclay: <Geez, it is just a dress◊ Ark. It's even cheap thrift store one for frig's sake!>

Ark: <The hair I let slide, but these shoes are stupid and hard to run in and this... dress is not gonna survive a day traveling! It is also flimsy and stupid... and just... uuuuughhhhhh!>

-The black haired girl just trailed off into distressed vulpine noises.-

Ekundayo: <Um... you look pretty at least?>

Ralli: <Also, at least we didn't put make up on ya.>

Cynthia: ~Well you can't blame her. She's been stuck in the Old Chateau for Arceus knows long.~

Volta: <I don't blame her! I just wanna ask her to go see another place, like i don't know, Kalos or Johto! With a mobile house she could do so, no?>

Ashley: <...Hate to say it, but he's right, you know.>

Volta: <So what i'm saying here is: little glitch child, you can manipulate a house to see the world, so don't try to destroy it by doing an assimilation plan! Do you know the meaning of the word sharing?>

-Cynthia hearing Kiaran, go see Ark's mons.-

-Then she sees the scene, with Verigan checking some magazines, Ark's mons with shampoo bottles and a comb, and Kiaran holding the dress.-

Cynthia: ~Am I... Interrupting something? Anyways, i told Verigan i'll gave him a shield to compensate for what i did, so, um, here it is!~

-She hands the Burned Tree Trunk Chunk to Verigan. A hold has been crudely made of wood and scrap fabric.-

Cynthia: ~I hope you like it. Ashley made the pattern, and i carved it. -beat- Um... Where's Ark?~

Lillith: Johnson... (sits up) Ugh... So, he got away? (sighs) I'm sorry... I failed to stop them... He managed to beat my entire team... Seriously, what was that guy? (remembers something) And what exactly did he do here? I think he said... he wanted information... Information about what?

Johnson: -shaking his head- I can't even begin to guess what they were... I'd say the man looked familiar, but I'm pretty sure I've never known a man glowing gold eyes before. But as for what they wanted, from what I can tell from Sherles' computer, he got the information he wanted...

-Johnson takes out a list of names of humans and Pokemon and reads them off. A few of the names Lilith is bound to recognize.-

Johnson: All files related to Lane Heiden, Mondo the Clefairy, Pentigan Fiveside, Derek "Dune" Morton, Galvani the Magnezone, Deziree Galvani, Jacob Iridis, Verax Iridis, SleepyHead the Hypno, Lisa the Talonflame, Renard Clavis, Professor "Silent", Jules Mendel, Desmond "Des" Decartes, Rebecca Goldman, Joseph Hudson, Daydre, and Lyuri Reise were copied to an external device. The only common theme between the names I can see is the fact that they are all known to be active members of the J-Team.

-Johnson hands the list to Lillith as he continues.-

Johnson: The rest of the files weren't touched and the the copied files weren't altered or deleted. As for damages... Other than the stolen files, there was property damage and oddly, only injuries. Sherles and his Stoutland got the worst of it though. We'll have to wait for the green light to talk to him. Anything else?

Johnson: If I recall correctly, you have ties to the J-Team, if not these members personally. You should let them know about what happened here.

-Johnson stands up-

Johnson: Feel free to head back for the day after taking your team to get them healed. I'll handle the cleanup procedures. You can submit a case report when you have rested a bit. I'm staying a bit late today to see if there is anything else I can find out about this incident.

-Johnson gives Lillith a salute before heading over to talk with the paramedics.-

-Ren's family has sent Ren three new suits.-

(Quirinus' mangled mouth twists into what might be a smile.)

Quirinus: ~Don't matter. My offer's just come through.~

(He rises fully to his feet, clutching his wand in one paw and the remains of his mask in the other.)

Quirinus: ~Cheerio, mate. For the love of Arceus, don't bother me again.~

(And with the same ear-splitting *KRAK-shreee* noise, he teleports away to distant parts.)

Pastoria — The Fight

-While Inkay!Vierr is smacking Diane around, she manages to get a grip on his primary appendages and pulls the armband off of him, reverting him midswing. He crashes to the ground headfirst, and Diane kicks him away while he's dazed. Before he can regain his senses and start seeing straight again, she puts it on herself and rushes into him, lifting him up high into the sky.-

Vierr: ...Shit.

-She immediately crashes down with him into the trees, hitting every branch on the way down. Vierr groans in pain when he hits the ground, while Diane takes the armband off, sore but not incapacitated.-

Diane: Are we finished here?

Vierr: Urgh... I'm not done...

-He struggles back up, before flopping back down.-

Vierr: Okay fine, I'm done. You win.

Diane: Good, because I could do this all day and you really don't want that.

-She helps him up and slings his arm over her shoulder. At this point, she finally notices the gathered audience.-

Diane: Hey, guys!

A Safari Ball flies through and bounces off of a Croagunk who was sniffing a pile of food.Confused it looks up at the sky before being drawn into the pokeball. The Safari Ball twitches for a few seconds before finally resting.

Croagunk was caught!

Des takes his eyes off of the sight of his popgun and leans back a bit, sighing. Pria gets off of her spotting scope and puts a tick mark on a checklist.

<Alright that's Croagunk. We'll have to come back tomorrow to see what else is available. Let's move onto the next Area.>

Des and Pria quickly pack and, Des retrieving the the caught Croagunk and putting it in a large sack full of pokeballs then slinging the sack over his shoulder before moving on.
