-Herbert glares at Joseph, Jacob and DS.-
Herbert: Oh, so now it's official J-Team policy to shout down people whose opinions don't agree wholeheartedly with your own? I have an objection, and I'm making it known. If you'd rather side with a serial killer, then that's your own damn choice.
-He turns to Crewe.-
Herbert: Because you didn't have any choice in the matter! He did! And I don't doubt for a second that he would've killed you without hesitation. Oh, sure, he would've felt sorry about it later... and of course, feeling sorry about it makes it all okay, doesn't it?

-Leonard shrugs.-
Leonard: I still have one functioning arm, I ought to make good use of it.

-To Herbert-
We can discuss that later. Please don't make me have one of my mons geass you. >_>
Xatu: -To Herbert- <There are more important things to deal with than old grudges, however deserved.>
Sue: -Roars to make everyone silent-
Thanks Sue. Point is, I had a lot of time to think about what I did, what I should've done, and what we should do going forward. I've come to this as a conclusion.
...
We need to actually live up to the "Team" portion of our moniker, as in we need to be a more cohesive unit. The term J-Team wasn't chosen by us, and I used to find it annoying, but I feel that we can be a banner to rally behind. I said to Tokarev that day on Citadark that Teams would curse our group, and Admins and Bosses would fear us.
As long as there's life on this rock, there will always be those who prey on the weak and seek power at any cost. That's where we come in, as long as people like them exist, we and people like us will be there.
To stop them.

Crow: "As for Bert... He's not especially fond of something he did."
Maggie: Rallying the larger group probably would be a good idea, yeah...

Munn nods along in agreement with Tagg's words.

"Hey. Cool down there, Joe."

"Well that's a motto worth rallying around. And yeah this really isn't a team, and I'd like to see that changed but I feel as if some of the other's wouldn't."

Then why didn't he, huh? I attacked him, and he beat me! And then he stopped! If he wanted to kill me, he could have! Easily! Maybe you should just—
-she falls quiet as Sue roars and sits back down, glaring at Herbert-
I'm all for that. We're a pack. We should get our shit together and act like one.

-Herbert looks up at Tagg with his teeth bared, ignoring all the other voices trying to shout him down.-
Herbert: You're still defending your actions? Arceus, I can't believe you... I looked up to you at one point, you know that? Back in Ransei, you were pretty much the only thing keeping me alive and sane. Without you I would've either died or lost myself to that damned locket. Sure, I thought it was pretty messed up how easily you justified slaughtering Umbra's minions, but at the time I tried to brush it off. Us or them, right? Until I learnt that you don't kill because there's no other alternative. That massacre in Orre proved as much. You enjoyed it, didn't you, you sick fucker? You certainly took your time about it. I bet that's the only way you can enjoy yourself by now. You've murdered so many people that you can't even get it up anymore unless your hands are slick with blood. And yet you spared Umbra and Secant, despite both of them being far worse than many others you've fought. You know, I might be able stomach your love of murder if there was some kind of moral drive behind it. If you only killed serial killers or something. If you were fucking discriminate. But no, you don't even bother checking to see if your victims deserve it - so long as you get a hard-on as a result, you don't care who you kill. For fuck's sake, you nearly killed Crewe and Every, because clearly your so-called "friends" aren't as important as your murder fetish. The fact that you were willing to abandon all of us in favour of your revenge fantasies back in Orre proves it. But you know what? You're going to ignore everything I say anyway, because your perception of right and wrong died along with those Cipher Peons you butchered and you're surrounded by sycophants who wouldn't say a word against you even if you murdered their grandmothers. And everyone else is going to look past all the sick and twisted shit you did, because you're "damaged" and weren't "thinking straight". They're going to look past all the bodies and widows and orphans. Because facing the consequences of your actions is something only the bad guys have to do, right?
-He shakes his head, looking more disappointed than angry.-
Herbert: Face it, Tagg. Just like Mezzopiano said, you're as bad as the Cipher Admins you dedicated yourself to revenge against. Yeah, sure, we should be working as a team. But we should be working to stop people like you, not rally behind you. What the hell do you think we are? I'm not going to fight you, because you'd just kill me on the spot without a second thought. But I'm never going to forgive you. And one day, when I've reached the peak of my training, I'm going to find and bring you to justice. That's one thing I've got to thank you for, I suppose - you've given me inspiration. Inspiration to dedicate my life to hunting down bastards like you. As if I needed further motivation. Goodbye, Tagg. I sincerely doubt that this'll be the last time we see each other, but it'll probably be the last time that we're on speaking terms.
-He turns and storms out of the meeting hall.-

Jacob: "I prefer team to pack but meh whatever floats your boat."
-Sighs- "Also if we're here to debate the morals of what Tagg has done we'll be here all year. We all do stupid things and things people don't agree with. Some are worse than others. That doesn't define who we are though. A grudge held is a future destroyed. Letting go and moving on from other people's actions is something we all need to be able to do."
-Sighs and looks at Herbert as he storms out-
"Well that was a colossal waste of time. Meh. Moving on. Herbert is the champion irrational grudge holder. He doesn't matter for the purposes of this meeting."
