Lumiose City
-After a long offscreen journey that presumably involved a lot of navigational failures, Herbert has finally returned to Lumiose, and is now wandering around with Falchion by his side.-
Herbert: Gah, I'm never going to get used to this place... it's like someone designed the layout specifically to confuse me or something.
Falchion: <I doubt the city planners ever factored some random Sinn kid into their architectural decisions.>
Herbert: It's still pretty-
-He pauses mid-sentence when he notices a familar figure outside the Stone Emporium, talking to the owner and doing his best to pretend that he hasn't noticed Cleo shopping inside.-
Leonard: ...So you're saying that if I wanted, say, a Houndoomite, I'd have to essentially find one myself?
Owner: Well, I can try to get something in for you, but our stocks are pretty limited at the moment. Seems like people are stumbling across Key Stones like they're free candy or something...
Leonard: Damnination. I suppose expanding my team can wait for a while, however.
-Unbeknownst to Leonard, a figure shrouded in the shadows of a nearby back alley has been watching him intently. Falchion happens to notice, but before he can make a comment Herbert has already started making his way over to Leonard.-
Herbert: Afternoon, cuz.
Leonard: ...Must you insist upon calling me "cuz"?
Herbert: Well, we're technically cousins, albeit really really really distant ones, so you can't fault me for factual accuracy.
Leonard: Your grammatical accuracy, on the other hand, needs a great deal of improvement.
-Falchion chances a glance back at the alley, only to find that whoever was there is now long since gone.-

Lumiose City
Cleo actually has not noticed Leonard hanging outside the store, as she is too busy checking out stones.
That is, not to say, that Montu and Pakhet (who are always there unless stated otherwise) have not noticed Leonard.
Pakhet: -To Leonard- ~D'aww, you're thinking of getting a little fire-breathing hellhound, I knew you had a soft side in you somewhere Leonard. Yannow, Cleo would absolutely melt around a Houndour, you should have been there when she got Anapa~
Montu: <Having a telepathic conversation with Benedick?>
Pakhet: <Eeyup~>

Deziree: Well, the jetpack I made last week worked fine up until it got crushed on a bunch of rocks. I mean, I finally ironed out the details of my self-cleaning fork, but come on! That's not fun.
Norm: <That's my prime directive! You indeed have a very manly mane.>
Dune: ... Yes.
-He seems almost ashamed to admit it.-

Lumiose City
-Leonard gives a disgruntled grunt as Pakhet's voice starts echoing through his head.-
Leonard: I was merely thinking of adding a new member to my team, and decided that a mon capable of Mega Evolution was as good a choice as any. Also, what did I tell you about rooting around in my head?
Lumiose City, Stone Emporium.
Pakhet: ~Yet, you choose Houndour. A Pokemon you specifically brought up a few days ago that could "break Cleo's tough exterior". You're not exactly being covert about the whole things Leonard~
~Also, if I wanted to comb through your memories, I would have a) done that silently or b) just get the daily log from Gallade. But I don't need any more potential blackmail material from you, sir~
Montu: <I hope you're careful with your words Pakhet, you wouldn't want to cause a scene.>
Pakhet: <But it's so fuuuuuun to taunt him~>

I'm having to learn to pay the priceLumiose City
Dune: I guess... I mean, I'm not parenting material. That would require settling down, getting a job... I don't think I'm ready for that sort of thing. And that scares me.
Deziree: Yeah... But on the other hand, I think I've made a breakthrough regarding this!
-She presents her bracelet.-
Deziree: I think I can now begin work on fixing that glitch that it's got. Maybe.
Norm: <You appear to have a rather large amount of testosterone in your system, which entails that you have a great deal of masculinity! Or a gland tumor! Either one!>
Lumiose City
-Leonard starts to go rather red.-
Leonard: I thought I told Gallade not to - wait, what do you mean, more potential blackmail material?
Herbert: ...Are you about to explode or something?
Leonard: Of course I'm not- wait, what?
Herbert: Well, you were standing in silence for about a minute and slowly going red in the cheeks. I thought you were about to burst and end up as a big pile of noble chunks.
-Leonard tries to think of a response, fails, then facepalms and decides that he'd probably get a more coherent conversational partner by waving Crow over. He's probably going to be disappointed.-

Lumiose City
Alexandrine: <The great huntress does not refer to herself in the third person at all times! That would be mentally exhausting!>
Dune: Yes and no. She's going to hang at her house until we're ready to move on to Laverre, the town to the north.
Deziree: Oh, hey Umbra! It's been a while.
Norm: <Greetings!>
