Coumarine City
"<I guess some things you think are great until you see the disastrous consequences they have.>" said Duke, with a shrug "<You and I both know I'm not very good to deal with that kind of problem, but, well... If you need someone to vent on you can always look for me. I bet you must be under a lot of stress again.>"
Geosenge Town, probably after the visit to Glittering Cave
-Forte is on her laptop, looking at a particular website-
-on said website is a collection of images labeling a Flareon as a "false prophet"-
Forte: Augh! This is so stupid!
eternalfire3: flareon is the most useless eevee
WraithStriker: All the Eeveelutions are overrated trash, but Flareon is the worst.
Forte: But that's not true at all! They don't know anything about Flareon!
Fireball: <Huh?>
Forte: Take a look at this!
Fireball: <Ooh, it's like I'm a devil... cool!>
Forte: No, no, the comments!
KerroFlamestar: That's not true at all! You don't know anything about how awesome Flareons are!
eternalfire3: go home troll
Fireball: <Oh yeah? Let me show you this!>
-Fireball cloaks himself in flame and rushes at the laptop... only to hit the wall as it is telekinetically jerked away-
Shadow: <No. I'd like to keep being able to play StellarCreation, thank you.>
Fireball: <Aww, come on!>

-Herbert sighs, going quiet for a couple of minutes before starting to talk again in a considerably more bitter tone.-
Herbert: Someone like me probably shouldn't be in a relationship at all. I've got more baggage than a freight train. Sure, I need someone to help me deal with it from time to time, but that's what friends are for, right? There's no point in me trying to help other people when it's me that needs help. Maybe I should just tell Samantha as much... tell her to find someone she can be happy with, not a neurotic wreck like me...

Coumarine City
"<Just because you have issues doesn't mean you can't help people with their own. In fact, with some you'd actually be a better help than most because you have more experience. I think your main problem is that you often can't voice your opinion without sounding like you're bullying instead of helping. That's something that can be improved overtime, but you really shouldn't just give up like that.>"

-Mezzo is walking along somewhere, possibly with Ever; she is accompanied by her little sister-
Fortis: And then I met miss Noelle and she had a ribbon Eevee and she was so cute and she said I was adorable and she was my biggest fan!
Mezzo: That's nice... Noelle? Why does that name sound familiar?
Fortis: Forte should get a ribbon Eevee with pretty ribbons like that!
Hotel Marine Snow
-Forte opens the door-
Forte: Who is it?

-Herbert gives a bitter snort.-
Herbert: What, so I'm supposed to be grateful for my traumas because they build character or something like that? No thanks, and you're really not in a position to tell me as much. And I know that I can be an abrasive jerk sometimes. I don't need you reminding me.

Coumarine Town
Ever: Oh, huh. I've been trying to get Gattaca to evolve into that, but apparently we have to get along really well, and...
Gattaca: -sniffs-
Ever: Yeah, that's kind of tough.
Geosenge Town
Amanita: Oh, hey Forte. I take it you got here without help?

Echo: It was merely a way to get the point across. We don't have the selfish "world in our image" ideals that plagued them. We don't want to recreate the world ay all. We merely want to solve a problem without the twisted "everything must be destroyed" mentalities shared by groups such as them and Team Flare.
-She pauses, then sighs and regains her composure. When she speaks again, the venom in her voice is gone.-
Echo: ...Unlike them, we've seen the good in life as well as the bad.

Coumarine City
Fortis: Oh, you should give her ribbons then! -picks up Gattaca- You'd look pretty in ribbons, wouldn't you little Eevee?
Hotel Marine Snow
Pianis: -waves-
Forte: Uh, why would I need help? Was there snow on the road or something?
Icicle: <Did someone say snow?>

-Herbert balls his hand into a fist.-
Herbert: Quit talking about "making the best of it" like you actually know what I had to go through. Look, the last thing I need at the moment is you reminding me that nobody wants to be around me because I'm just some angry little asshole who's pretty badly messed in the head. Just... hell, I don't know. I don't even know what to say any more...
Herbert's Mindscape, The Forest - Immediately following this
-Yellow!Herbert turns to address Samantha as he leads her through the Forest.-
Yellow!Herbert: Up until recently, the seventh aspect here in the Mindscape was known as "Hebert". He was... to be entirely honest, I still am not entirely sure what he was. But he was dangerous, manipulative, and destructive. His influence peaked during our experiences in Orre, but thankfully waned as Herbert started to overcome his issues. Once Herbert started to date you, that was arguably the death knell for Hebert. I saw his weakness, and decided to take advantage of it. I enlisted Red's help, and together we defeated Hebert in an epic battle. He went One-Winged Angel, we had to attempt a Colossus Climb... it was quite exciting, really. Such a shame that it was never shown onscreen...
-He clears his throat.-
Yellow!Herbert: Anyway, at the conclusion of our battle, it appeared that Hebert - and by extension, the most psychologically unstable part of Herbert's psyche - had been destroyed. However, it was not long before he was replaced by White. I cannot tell whether White is simply Hebert assuming a different form, or an entirely new aspect altogether... but whatever the case, he is just as dangerous as his predecessor. Should you encounter him, do not let his appearance fool you. Avoid him as best you can.
-As he concludes his speech, he arrives at the gates of a decrepit old manor. The gate and doors both bear the signs of age and neglect, but both have clearly been barred and locked quite recently.-
Yellow!Herbert: Well, here we are. The Manor. Home to White, the manifestations of Herbert's fears, and the exit. I will escort you to guarantee your safety. Any questions?

... I see. You think the J-Team causes conflict, then?
There are many hotels in Hoenn that I'm sure would agree with you.
... All right, I suppose I can see your point. So what is it about your methods that the J-Team would be opposed to?
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!
