Courmarine City
Dratini!Valorie giggled half-heartedly. "I didn't mean that, but that too~" she replied coyly. "It's just... some people don't understand that this isn't fun." she explained with a yawn, shaking her head gently to shake off the sleepiness. She always got tired in this form. "I mean, it's not all bad, but I kinda liked who I was... y'know?" she mused out loud. She certainly seemed very comfortable with Pent now, though in reality she was just hiding the inevitable awkward thoughts.

<Lack of anything, really...> she continued light-heartedly, lifting her head enough to peer up at Pent. <I transform back sometimes, usually while I'm asleep.> she explained. By now she'd begun to grasp that she wasn't stuck like this forever. It wasn't worth constantly being upset over. Her gaze was now curious, searching. Could he really help her..?

Dratini!Valorie shivered involuntarily, ear fins pulling back for a moment as a seemingly unpleasant sensation passed through her. She shifted within Pent's grasp again, mumbling something inaudible before finally speaking up.
"...Yeah—Do you think I could stay with you for a little while? Most people want to catch me." she explained calmly. If she hated the idea of being caught so much, how did real pokemon feel? Why had hers handled it so well? Valorie was... terrified of the idea to be honest.

Dratini!Valorie almost seemed to smile, her muscles relaxing a bit. "Thanks... It's always so exhausting in this form. I don't know why—You'd think being a pokemon would make me feel stronger!" she mused out loud, laying her head back down.

Dratini!Valorie slowly drifts off...
...
...
And then suddenly her body begins to deform back into that of a human's, tail splitting into legs and arms forming. It's totally kind of disturbing to watch, as it is slow enough to observe in rather great detail. The end result however, is that Pent now has a sleeping girl curled up in his lap.
Oh my.

Valorie is totally oblivious, out like a light and without a care in the world as she visited dreamland. Pent might have to wait a while. At least she was light-weight and small!

Valorie totally just... allows herself to be huggled and all that noise. It seemed to bring a lite smile to her face, as if she were imagining something quite pleasant. Her uninhibited and impaired state likely made it easy to ignore any awkwardness or implications.
All good things must come to an end however and she would eventually crack open her eyes. At first she was confused as her brain tried to remember where she'd chosen to sleep and she just sort of shifted into a sitting position.
Wait... Something didn't feel quite right.
Noting that she was definitely not sitting on the ground Valorie looked around her and almost immediately turned her gaze upwards at Pent's, freezing like a deer in headlights.
Suddenly tension!

Valorie just sort of took that long moment's of deer-in-headlight staring to gauge exactly how badly she'd screwed up. The answer..?
...Not very much, actually! She decidedly averted the freak out and remained seated on Pent for the moment being, smiling at him from her meager stature. "Yeah... I guess I was more tired than I thought. Have you been waiting for long?" she asked light-heartedly.

Valorie quietly considered the implications. Hoo boy. She did her best not to show she felt any qualms about this. "Really..? I feel pretty well-rested." she said casually with a shrug, still peering up at Pent from his lap. "See anything weird when I transformed back..?"

Valorie blinked several times, confused by the remark. "What..?" she asked ever so innocently. That almost sounded... dirty! Why would he say something like that? She wasn't sure she wanted to know. The shortcake finally moved to get off of Pent.

Valorie turned to face Pent and bent over slightly to offer him her hand. It was probably an awful idea to rely a teeny girl like for support; she'd probably get pulled down, but she offered anyway.
"Oh yeah..?" she asked, smiling again. "Well... thanks for keeping me safe and comfortable last night. I appreciate it." she replied softly.
"Didn't you say you wanted to help me figure out how to stop this though..?" she added after a moment, puzzled.

Valorie sighs wistfully. "I was afraid of that." she said after a moment. "But... it's alright. I guess I'll just keep looking, y'know? I don't know about you, but I'm hungry." she added casually.
...And why did she want seafood so badly?
