Arika: Considering I'm getting flashbacks to both the day I first met you and the time I tried to stab your ancestor, yes.

Elise:Well, I can do this.
-She forms two kunai in her hands, aims them a stray Rawst berry, her eyes changing to turquoise again, and then fires them at the Rawst berry, causing it to break the berry into berry-ice cubes as it explodes-
Elise:-turns back to them, her eyes still turquoise and a smug grin on her face- What now, terrible?

Jacob: "Well..." -Throws his sword at the crystal-
"THROWING YOUR SWORD ALWAYS WORKS!" -It hits the crystal and it turns red, and several pressure switches pop out of the ground-
"... I hate my mind." -Stands on one the only switch available and one of the gates opens up-
".... Ooooh! We could just take turns standing on the switches until we get out of the room."
-Sadly the path that was opened up is one that has the rolling spiked log-
-However if Dune were to get around it there would be another switch to stand on-
-The giant Ariados is thunderstruck and is knocked off its webbing-
-It then hisses, bears its fangs and scuttles towards Vierr and Ren-
"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."Kamella: -Is knocked down to about a third of her health-
-And starts glowing with a blue aura-
Water Pulse!
Kamella: -Sends a noticeably larger Water Pulse at the Lucario-

Deziree: Man, I need to try and fix my bracelet at some point. But, on the other hand, I don't want to break it because...
-She sighs.-
-Dune blinks.-
Dune: No offense, but I'm kinda happy that you failed during that attempt. And I'm also happy that she remembered meeting me. You remembered meeting me. She/You. Ugh, pronouns make my head hurt.
Jacobscape, Yesterday
Dune: ... Alright, let's see...
-Dune watches the log, getting a sense of it's timing.-
Dune: Three... two...
-He then bolts across as the log passes, hoping desperately that the cylinder of spikes doesn't break pattern.-

Coumarine City
-Vierr quickly brings up a thin sheet of Obscura as the pieces of berry explode. They shatter the sheet as they hit it, but unlike Crewe's shields, this stops the berries in their path.-
Vierr: -grins- I'm learning some other tricks.
-As he lets the non-shattered parts fade, it's clear the effort drained him-
Jacobscape
Vierr: ...I'm regretting this now.
-He warily holds his Obscurasaber between himself and the Ariados, waiting for it to make a move. He glances up at the vine-
Vierr: ...Why didn't we use those before?!
-He grabs the vine as it comes down, swinging away from the Ariados-

The Monastery
Mortimer: "Yes. The Wolf What Walks As A Man. One of the most terrifying and deadly eldritch beings to ever step onto the mortal plane."
Father Wrath: "Indeed. Now that you know the rules, I shall take you to see him. Be warned, he hasn't accepted an offer in two millennium."
He slowly shuffles across the hall to a door set in the far wall.

Babe: Yeah, whatever. I'm at least glad Carol let us come here while she's back in Shalour noodlin' around tryin' to find her "friends" or somethin'. Much better to hang here on dis nice bench than runnin' around in front of some weird tower.
River: For now, sure, being split up is fine. But once Miss Carol finds some of the J-Team she'll get swept up again on some adventure, and how will Seven know where to look once they do so?
Babe: Dat's the point, l'il wabbit.
River: I-I'm not l-little anymore...
Babe: Oh, hush. Anyways, the point is, with Carol and the rest of the team gone, we gots all the time to ourselves. We can just chill here 'till our time in Kalos is up, and then get outta dis pretentious land of cafes and fancy bread!
River: Great job stereotyping, Babe. In any event, I'll want to team back up with Miss Carol eventually. But if you want to stay here, fine by me. I just hope Seven returns sometime soon to pick us up...
Babe: Dat's your decision, missy, but I'm stayin' here. It's nice here, not too crazy.
River: -sighs-
Meanwhile, in Shalour
Carol: You leave for a month and suddenly you're in...-she holds up some sort of dictionary, with a big "2.99" sticker still stuck on the cover, and reads from it- ..."le pays de 'l'amour'". -looks back up- Go figure.

-The log grows arms and legs and chases after Dune to impale him does not change pattern at all and is passed by-
-Upon standing on the switch, the gate Dune passed through explodes, as well as the log-
Jacob: "... Well that was handy."
-Another gate opens and behind it, several Feraligatr are prowling-
-The first Ariados is destroyed by fire-
-The second one sits on its web obstructing the path, doing nothing other than watching Ren-
-By swinging on past it, Vierr is now behind the Ariados, and on the end of the room there is a big crate a small room sealing off what's behind it with bars, which in the room are a tablet covered in webbing so it cannot be read, and a chest-
-Around the wall there are three closed stone eyes-

Deziree: Well, they don't need a lot of material, individually... Might be easier to do if I'm a Magnezone.
-She frowns.-
Deziree: Which I can't go back to until I find Dune. Blech. Now I wish I had an armband.
