Crow's Mindscape
Jacob: "... Okay?"
"... Why is it I have to pass along the message, out of curiosity?"
Jacob's Mindscape
Soul: "Well he wouldn't tell anyone. That's the thing. As well just wait... this is the important part."
-Then this
happens then...-
Memory!Jacob: "... As for you..."
Jirachi: <... I suppose you want something? Again? I'm not exactly fond of double wishing. Especially for you.>
Jacob: "Fine then. How about a trade. I need you, and I can give you something you want."
Jirachi: <I can warp reality with my will. The power of wishes surpasses that of creation. Instant gratification for even that which defies reality. What could you, a mere, mortal, completely normal human offer?>
Jacob: "An exchange. This-" -He holds up a Pokéball-
"What I want from you is to make this infallible. Not like a Master Ball, which only guarantees that which it manages to reach, but as whatever I throw this Pokéball at, at my time of most desperate need, shall always catch it's target, even if it must alter reality itself to do so. In return you may rescind my last wish. I care not if I go back to being near death, if I am offered a chance to right my mistakes. As well, you must abandon this cave. It is too well known. I do not want your power ever abused again."
Jirachi: <Why not just wish for what you want rather than a means to get it? Wouldn't that be easier?>
Jacob: "It would. It would also teach me nothing. I made this mistake, it is my job to fix it. And I can do so, I just need you to provide me with the means."
Jirachi: <... If I take your offer, I condemn you to a slow and painful death.>
Jacob: "And I will bear it. I don't care if I must bear all the pain and suffering this world has, if it means saving Regina, I will suffer the most dreadful affliction that can be devised and drag my dying carcass back to Orre to see her saved before I die."
Jirachi: <....>
Jacob: "Well? Get on with it!"
Jirachi: <... I... will grant your wish. You are not driven by selfishness, or at least your selfish desire is wrapped in selflessness. You stood up to your friend, you have unflinchingly accepted a painful death, all to save someone other than yourself. It appears humans are capable of altruism, even if their nature is to be selfish. That's great!> -Smiles-
<Okay... let's make this magic happen!> -Closes his eyes as energy builds up, then a wave of light pulses away from the pixie, the light, after passing through, freezes around the Pokéball, expands, then swirls into it as if drawn in by some unseen power-
<Right, now I guess I should go find some new place to live... but before I do this isn't free you know.>
Jacob: "... Ah?"
Jirachi: <Yep! In exchange for this, you owe me a favor. Which I'll call in at some unspecified time and place.>
Jacob: "... Duly noted.... and thank you."
Jirachi: <Just don't make a habit of it!>
-As Jacob picks up Zeal and exits the cave, it vanishes in a flash of light-
-The room then fades back to the white hallway-
"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."Crow's Mindscape
Boss: "Can you deliver the message or at least have someone else outside of the Mindscape do it, or not?"
Jscob's Mindscape
Crow: "Huh, he really doesn't like me."
-He gives this no more thought and heads up the stairs-

"Don't worry, murder is a sign of affection." - An amalgamation of DunsparceCyllage City Gym
Spagged with Tangent.
-Tangent and Forte enter the gym-
Tangerine: Hmm, rock-climbing?
Forte: Wow, and I thought the gyms back home were bad.
Tangerine: It's high, but it doesn't look like a particularly difficult course... just treat it like a ladder.
Forte: Okay...
-Forte starts climbing up the wall-
Tangerine: So have you decided your team?
Forte: Yeah. Shadow, Leaflet, and Marine. What's yours?
Lua: <Me!>
Tangerine: ...No.
Lua: <cheer—>
Tangerine: Sorry, Lua, you and Rosary are kinda poorly suited against Rock-types. -she pats her-
Tangerine: I'll be going with Ground-types... Fuego, Pankaja, Rufus.
Cephas: <Um...>
Tangerine: Oh? Did you want in this round?
Cephas: ! <Um... I mean...>
Tangerine: -bends down to pat the Geodude- I don't want to pressure you or anything, but you sound interested?
Cephas: <Yes! I mean- OK?> ._.;
Tangerine: -tilts her head- All you had to do was ask.
Cephas: <That's the hard part...>
Tangerine: OK, Rufus, do you mind if-
Rufus?
...
Rosary: <Oh, he's at the Boutique.>
Tangerine: Well, you're in, Cephas! -she climbs after Forte-
Forte: Oh, neat. With three Ground types, two Water types, and a Grass type, we should be set.
Tangerine: Don't tempt fate, they like to pull tricks I hear. ._.;
Forte: Um, sorry then...
Do not fear power... fear those who wield it.Route 12
Blink. Blink. Valorie had woken up standing again, this time not even in a city. She quietly cursed her luck. At this rate she'd be falling asleep during battles with how little sleep she'd gotten! She began checking over herself, seeing as she wasn't in a safe place and wasn't entirely sure what she'd done while asleep. She was, oddly enough, dressed. She also had her satchel, which as always contained some food and water in the event she couldn't find her way back to town quickly. As eerie a thought as it was she was grateful she didn't have to worry about being stranded without food or her pokemon. With a sigh she began to back up, only to bump into something even shorter than she was conveniently placed behind her.
Valorie shrugged this off and sat down on what felt like a bolder, only for it to rise up underneath her and begin shaking itself back and fourth.
<Get OOOOOOFF!!> a geodude yelled, startling Valorie. The shortcake just sort of looked around frantically.
"Stop! Aah!—Sorry!" Valorie replied in an alarmed tone before haphazardly diving off and stumbling several feet away before regaining her balance.
<Hmph... Stupid girl.> the grumpy geodude muttered as it began relocating to somewhere less likely to be kicked or used as a seat.
Valorie's cheeks puffed up a little in irritation and she shook a fist vaguely in the general direction of the voice in the darkness. "Try taking it as a compliment next time!" she called out backhandedly. Geez, what a jerk..!
Valorie began digging through her satchel. It was the dead of what was only technically 'morning' and pitch black as a result. She needed light, but a part of her just... did not want to see Charizard right about now.
She released Eelektross instead, because she was entirely reliable!
"Hey Eelektross, can I have some light..?" she asked. The super eel began to glow with a powerful electricity, staring quietly at her. What Valorie couldn't tell, because highly inhuman physiology, was that Eelektross was giving her the Kubrick Stare
.
<...>
Valorie obliviously produced a light sandwich and began helping herself to breakfast. "Thanks. Charizard and I are going through some tough times right now and I just..." she started, shaking her head helplessly.
<...>
Valorie did notice something odd in that Eelektross was not replying. She met the other's gaze and frowned, somehow a tad uncomfortable with that stare full of intent. Could that be..? Nah! She probably just wasn't a talkative pokemon.

I dropped out of school to become a pokemon master, but then they pulled me right back in to get my doctorate!Shalour Beach - Yesterday
"I don't think you're a lost cause. If anything your on-going relationship should help you get over your problems faster." said Lyuri.
"I don't think of either of you as lost causes. I see you two as just people who have their own issues like everybody does. I see Lyuri as just another girl, a tough one that while she may not act like it sometimes, is a genuinely good person who doesn't wish anyone harm unless they deserve it." said Duke, sighing, then looking back at Herbert "I took you under my wing because I had no reason not to, it's not because I pity you or anything. I just want to do anything under my power to help, as your teacher, you became my responsability and as such I just want to see you doing fine. Nothing else, nothing more."
