Shalour City
-Lucille raises an eyebrow, her voice bitter.-
Lucille: He was with Cipher? Somehow I'm not surprised. There's nothing he wouldn't do for a quick buck. Of course, he and dad always used to get along well, as men obsessed with filling swimming pools full of money often do.
-Nearby, Leonard frowns at Cleo, though his tone suggests that he's not going to argue in favour of her putting more clothes on particularly vehemently.-
Leonard: It's unbefitting of somebody of your status, that's what it is. You're a noble, not some common lady of negotiable affection.
-After a moment, he realises that he may have backhandedly complimented Cleo, so hastily finds a way to convert the comment into an insult.-
Leonard: Of course, perhaps I shouldn't expect such decorum from a de Nile.

Shalour City
-Herbert grins at Samantha.-
Herbert: Yeah, let's get an Inkay! I want something to cuddle and squeeze and... er, well, you get the idea. I've got no idea where you're supposed to find them, though. The only wild one I've bumped into was evolved, and also kind of a jerk.
Lucille: It's not the money that's the problem, it's what you do with it. We've got all these natural advantages and yet dad insists on hoarding every single penny like some kind of obese dragon.
-She sighs.-
Lucille: Maybe one day we won't have to deal with that kind of divide... probably just wishful thinking, though.
Shalour City
Cleo: Yes, just because of my family heritage I am obliged to wear a Pimped-Out Dress or elaborate veils when the situation calls that they would be the least practical clothes to be wearing. Especially in the case of the extensive physical activity I undertake.
Cleo rolls her eyes.
Cleo: Oh no, Dandelion has used some big words today~ What's he gonna do next? Whittle me down with age old facts, start insulting me in Latin? Oh your heart is a thick as a obelisk sometimes, 100 cubits high~ 8 cubits thick.
Cleo thinks about what she said and blushes deeply at how it could be interpritated for someone who does not have a good knowledge of papyrus lansing texts from Middle Kingdom [Poke!Egypt]

-Straw is bonked in the back of the head by a pebble-
Oww...
Palutena:<Skypebble? Odd.>
-Straw turns around and spots Dune and Crewe, and waves at them-
-Elise meanwhile is attempting to figure out how Aura stuff works. She's not very successful-
Momohime:-juggles Shadow Balls- <Maybe it's not your thing?>
Elise:The juggling is not helping. >:|

-Herbert blinks in surprise upon being suddenly teleported.-
Herbert: ...Wait, I didn't say that we had to get one right this instant! I was thinking we could maybe go hunting for one over the weekend or something.
Falchion: <Hasn't Maul desensitised you to this kind of stuff by now, sir?>
Shalour City
-Leonard does indeed look rather flustered by Cleo's unusual turn of phrase, but attempts to conceal it by cocking his eyebrow further.-
Leonard: I am well-read enough to make use of words more than four syllables long, you know.
-Lucille, meanwhile, doesn't seem to notice Diane's odd phrasing and instead looks over the beachfront somewhat wistfully.-
Lucille: ...I guess it's up to people like us to do what we can to fix it.

Cleo: Well that just your problem mate, I don't dress modest like Maman or Zilah does on occasion. You afraid of halter tops and daisy dukes all of a sudden?
