Pippi: -Sipping her drink- Not at all, cher. Not at all~
Lawrence: -Looking at his watch once again- Hmm, it's getting late out. You think we should head on back to the hotel?
Pippi: That would be nice Lawrence~ Though, knowing Patty, she'd probably yank you back to the Ol' de Nile Chateau.
Lawrence: -Shrugs- Who knows, maybe she'll surprise us...
Someday.
Pippi and Lawrence wave Lucille goodbye.
Lawrence: See you around later, Lucille!
Pippi: Bye cus'. Don't let Leonard get to up himself!
Pakhet: -Wrapping an arm around Crow- <Trust me mate, you don't know the half of it~>
Montu: -Likewise- <There's a reason we call those two Beatrice and Benedick>
Cleo: -Grabbing her enamel striped bag- So see yah around.

Valorie shrugged gently from her perch. "Whatever, I guess..!" she replied to Sparkers. "We could get working on training now. I don't have any of my other pokemon, so I'm not going anywhere until... um... I find the man I left my satchel with." she explained thoughtfully.
Cyllage Beach
Jessica begins working with the wet sand as well on her hands and knees. The question seems to catch her off guard and she peers at Morgan searchingly for a moment. "...Well—I guess not really!" she replied light-heartedly.
"I mean I love travelin' with 'em, but I've always been content t'sit back and enjoy life... y'know?" she explained, stopping what she was doing for a moment to consider something. "...What ah' really wanna do is raise 'nough money so I can save th'ranch back home." she explained.
"Business ain't so good lately n' my folks re'gitten old. That's my dream!" she finished, satisfied with her explanation.

-Maul is hit by the Night Slash and staggers backwards, taking heavy damage.-
Maul: <No. No friendlies.>
Herbert: Hrm... Focus Blast, Maul!
-Maul obligingly gathers a massive ball of energy before hurling it at Harbinger.-

-The Play Rough hits Maul straight in the chest.-
Maul: <...Ow.>
-He topples over backwards, fainted.-
Herbert: ...You know, if that battle was anything to go by, you're not half-bad at this.
-He scratches the back of his neck.-
Herbert: So, uh... should we start arranging an actual date for tomorrow or something? I don't think this really counts, since fisticuffs aren't usually a part of most dates. Though they totally should be.

Vattenfallet: <I suppose a happy childhood is also the best childhood to live out yourself. I was lucky in that regard.
(continuing) My father was a truly wonderful man. He had once been a Trainer's Pokemon, being released for reasons he never quite explained. As such, he taught me and my siblings that you shouldn't be scared of humans, and getting caught was not a bad experience in the end - you would be cared for, well-fed, and could battle with others if you ever felt bored. Aside from those lessons, he told the most wonderful silly stories, tales about evil pink Dragonites slain by knights wielding sharpened carrots and nonsense like that. He was a natural with children.
My mother was the sweetest, gentlest soul I've ever seen. She didn't have a bad word to say about anybody. She loved my father, and she loved her children, and we all loved her back. She taught me never to spite anyone, and to always be kind to those you meet. I have done as she said my entire life.>

Herbert: How about... how about we go to the beach together tomorrow morning? That sounds nice. Like a proper couple-y thing. Then again, I've never really been on a proper date before, so I've got no idea what they entail.
-He gives another nervous laugh again, before realising something and looking up at Samantha.-
Herbert: ...I only just realised that I never got your name. I'm Herbert, by the way.

Valorie became slightly flustered. "Well... I mean—I'll be fine! I have my... close friend Sparkers!~" she replied in a somewhat affectionate tone. She was still avoiding properly discussing her emotions regarding him.

Montu: <How can you not be familiar with the works of the [English] Bard!?>
Cleo: Pakhet, Montu!
The two zip to Cleo's side
Cleo: Let's check in for the night.
Pakhet: ~Oh? We goin' home?~
Cleo ponders for a second, before replying.
Cleo: Nah, too late out. I'm going to chill at the hotel.
Montu and Pakhet exchange glances before smiling back at Cleo.
Montu: <We understand Cleo.>
Cleo: Pakhet? Will ya' take me to Larry?
Pakhet: ~On my way~
~Wink~
And with that, Cleo, Pakhet and Montu are teleported away.

The third possibility, is that while Des may have given his coat and ideals to Sparkers, his employers, those who gave this device to Des originally, wish you to be his successor.
It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.
