-As it turns out, the aforementioned Lucario has not yet made his way to Ergon Field, but is currently sitting in a tree and idly twirling an Aura staff, Eowyn presumably sleeping nearby.-

-Crewe notices the Lucario and shifts to human behind a nearby tree before approaching-

Hey, are you Herbert's Lucario?

Holon City, hotel room

-Mezzo shrugs and goes back to hugging Every-

Holon City, Outskirts

-Kirk raises an eyebrow at Crewe, dispels the Aura staff, and hops down from the tree.-

Kirk: <That's one way of putting it. Who are you and why are you bothering me?>

Holon City, hotel

-Every hugs back, still asleep-

Jab: -hops out the window-

I'm Crewe. I have something to tell your team (and Trainer, but apparently he's not here right now), and I was told you were the best one to talk to.

Holon City, Outskirts

Kirk: <...Right. Well then, go ahead. The others are asleep, but I'm sure you can tell them in the morning. Or just wake them up.>

-shrugs-

They can sleep. You can let them know.

-she takes a deep breath and puts one hand on her pendant-

First things first. I'm only showing you this because you're pack and I can't not. If you let anyone outside the J-Team know about this, even if they won't believe you, I will make you regret it.

-she pauses a moment, looking him up and down, then lets out a breath-

Well, here goes. Don't freak out or anything.

-she closes her fingers around the pendant and shifts to Sneasel-

<Um... ta-da. I'm at least half a Sneasel.>

Cave

-Straw lands near the water, the Registeel running at him-

Ah shit. I'm gonna die again...

-He unknowingly touhes his chest with the gauntlet, and slowly turns into a statue-

...That can't be good.

-Straw is solidified just as the Registeel punts him into the water. He floats out into the lake, and eventually to the surface. He washes up on the shores of the Lake soon after-

Holon City, Outskirts

-Kirk blinks at the Sneasel that is now in front of him.-

Kirk: <...Congratulations, I guess. This is important because...?>

-she shrugs-

<Whatever. You're pack, so you need to know. Just don't tell anyone outside the J-Team and it won't be a problem. Okay?>

-Kirk shrugs.-

Kirk: <I've seen someone do something similar before. And unlike him, you're not doing anything weird with it, so there's no reason I should care or bother to tell anyone else.>

-Crewe tilts her head, curious despite her indignation-

You've seen someone go Pokemon without an armband before? Who? Was New involved?

Wolf: Yep. Should I start or you?

Kirk: <His name was Duke, but there was an armband involved. Maybe. For some of it, anyway. There's enough weird ways of messing with the fundamental forces of nature for me to stop caring about the differences between them. Like I said, I don't care if you're a freak. Unlike the other freaks I've met, you're neither trying to kill me nor acting like an arrogant, stuck-up jerk. So I suppose that's points in your favour.>

<Though I suppose it's probably also magic. I never bothered to ask Mew how it works. Though this thing wasn't originally part of her thing, so who knows if she would even know.>

-she shrugs

<Whatever. Anyway, you wouldn't happen to know where your Trainer is, would you?>

-There is a blip from behind Kirk.-

Kirk: <...No. No I didn't.>

Sagi: "Ah, yes, I do."

-She comes closer-

"I'm the Warlord of Viperia and I'd like to talk with you about forming an alliance."

-Crewe jumps at the sudden appearance of Maul-
